2nd Gen clutches

Anybody know the difference between an '89 to '92 clutch and the '86 to '88? I have opportunity to buy a Centerforce clutch from the '89 and up, but I don't know if it can be modified to fit my '87.

Dont think theyre compatable between series 4 and 5...

Ive heard Centerforce clutches break when they see slight abuse, like hard launches or the occasional burnout.

I have never heard a bad thing about ACT. THey the ShiZnit YO!!!!

different flywheels....the '89-92 has a lighter flywheel which means it needs a different pressure plate.
