Do yourself a favor and get an s5 BNR turbo on an s5 manifold. The twin scroll design will help with response. You have to balance your desired powerband and your budget. when you go towards top end power you end up with a crazy top end rush but less part throttle torque. Here is my car going through 1st and 2nd gear:

I'm giving it about 1/2 throttle in 1st to help with traction. That's with a big street port, a much bigger turbo and twin scroll header, big injectors, standalone, all that stuff. But I did sacrifice torque under 4000rpm.

yeah im wanting to keep bottom end tq and mid-range power. so does bnr make the twin scroll manifold ?
so lol sorry but after your video im starting to get what your saying, pretty much what im wanting th car to do will require the stock ports and the bnr stg1 plus the other mods that have been stated.

And I wouldn't recommend a Microtech ECU for many, many reasons. If you are going to get a standalone, get one that actually has the necessary features for street driving like idle control, closed loop, etc. The Haltech Platinum Sport series, for example.

what about rteks stage 2 for the s5 ?

Rtek will be be more than adequet for your needs. You retain all the streetability of the stock ECU with full control over timing and fuel. Plus you have datalogging capabilities. People of made well over 300whp on the Rtek, so it will handle your desired setup just fine.
