Angry 2400-3400 stutter/hiccup

I need help my 87 N/A has racing beat headers and exhaust, k&n filter and suspension. I get a stutter when under normal driving at 2400-3400 rpm. It happens when slowly accelerating or lightly lifting off the gas. I'm curious whether the fuel pulsation damper could cause this. I'm replacing the damper as soon as the part gets in.(monday) would the fuel filter cause this? the engine doesn't stutter under WOT. and when it does it feels like I just punched the gas then quickly lifted off. what should I do? thanks for any help given.

i have this problem too now. it just started today, i just installed a rb downpipe yesterday to add to my k&n filter(those are the only mods i have). i was told that installing a dp would be fine as long as i have the stock cat, but this problem has started today and im thinking it has something to do with the downpipe i installed, which was working fine at first. and now i have the same problem as this man. im still new to this car so im hoping i can get some help with things as i deal with more complicated issues.
