People are going to tell you to Search. And they're right.
In the meantime, if you just want a very good set of shocks that you can install and forget about, buy the Tokico Premiums (also called Tokico Blues.) If you want something fancier... ask someone else.

Most stock shocks on any car or truck are past their prime at about 30k miles. Not to the point of pogo-sticking down the road but certainly to a point of diminished performance. To the point if you care about the car's handling ability you'll replace them with a quality piece. So yeah, your shocks are gone.
Springs don't lose rate over time. They will sag but the rate stays the same for all intents and purposes. What that means is that your car will ride lower over time but the rate doesn't change. So if you feel the ride height and rate are good don't worry about changing them.
If you're looking for a bolt-on, relatively low cost, strut/shock combo Tokico is about the only way to go.
