20mm front fenders only?

I am thinking of replacing my front fenders with 20mm over fenders on my 89 NA since I need a new passenger fender. Has anyone used just the 20mm front fenders or seen what it looks like with only the front fenders wider? I was going to roll both of the fenders to fit 17x8 +28 with 235/40s tires but the 20mm fenders should fit 17x9 +17 with 245/40s right?

with just those front fenders you should be able to fit a 245 or maybe even a 255 up front. along with a 265 or 275 out back, that'd be some nice grip in the corners. some people may think wider fenders only in front might look stupid but screw that, its fully functional since you can fit a 275 out back on stock bodywork but the fronts are hard to fit a 245 under the stock fenders.

You are right Vipers, you can hardly notice the wider front fenders. Do you scrap the front spoiler with it that low?

Owen, I am thinking of running a small stagger setup 245f/265r. I want as much grip as I can get for track days. I notice you fronts are wider than the back and it does not look bad.

How is the RaceOnUSA fenders and body kits quality and fitment?

the raceonusa fenders are HUGE! my 275's up front look tiny under them, its crazy. the quality is great, I just realized I could move them rearward another 1/4 to make the gap at the door a little smaller and they would look much much better.

a local guy is running 245/40R17 kumho V700 on mustang 17x8 wheels on stock fenders, he only rolled the lip on the fronts, so you really shouldnt need aftermarket wide fenders to run a 245 up front as long as you get the perfect offset and roll the lips up and out a bit.

plus if you just run a 245 / 265 in a 16'' setup, you might find tires of a smaller overall diameter so that will give you some more clearance.

it scrapes a little bit......its only a 1.6 inch drop, but man......with that kit, it looks alot lower!!

i got the fenders from a friend.....but you can go to www.aitracing.com...... click on b-majic products, then go to fc3s....and there they are..........

I need a bumper cover, fender, and fix the passenger light after a BMW X5 backed into my RX7. I might as well get the 20mm fenders since I have to replace one. I will probably get 5Zigen rims so the offset will probably be +25 for 17x8s with 245/40s. I have JIC coilovers and do not know how much lower than stock my car is. I would get a Version Select front bumper but, do not want any side skirts, and think it would be to low for street use. I found I can get a pair of 20mm fenders locally and avoid the shipping charges and can get wheel fitment advice from one of the guys there who knows FCs.
