2 quick questions... NEED HELP!
hey guys in the process of nearly restorying my 88 completely well here are the questions...
#1 i wanna smoke my tailights and ive read a little i saw somewhere on someone wrote a how to i searched but couldnt find crap... any what kind of paint to use???
#2 i have a pair of housings there that were given to me for my motor in great great shape and were ported but the exhaust sleeve was taken out does it matter or do i need to put one in???

i couldn't find the thread about smoking the tailights but i do remember people mentioning something called VHT (or VTH) Nightshade. as for the sleeves i dunno but would like to.

I recall that the exhaust sleeves should be in, because it's pretty important for good flow characteristics, unless the exhaust port is going to be just as large as the sleeve opening... which is pretty farkin huge.

go to a local hobby shop that sells RC cars.. not toy ones but the really expensive ones.. they sell tint for the rc bodies that will work..

so then do you guys think i should find some turbo 2 sleeves n put them back in there???
i need some reliability and friend is telling me that he doesnt like how big the exh ports are especially without sleeves.....

yes... find some TII sleeves to throw back in there. If you can't find TII ones, get N/A ones and grind out the diffuser and polish it smoothe. It should flow much better with a sleeve.

what you need to do is remove the roll pins that are on either side of the rotor housing. It holds the sleeves in. They are a royal pain in the *** to remove. I'm in the process right now...

tell me i have 2 shitty housings and since there no good apex blew on both i was just going to cut it up till i get it out without any dmg to it...
