2 quick quesions (TII swap)
First: I already have the RB header and presilencer on my N/A (which is being swapped)......Will the RB DP connect up to the presilence just like the header did?(length is what I think I'm worried about)
Second: I can't seem to find a local TII hood. Any ideas on modifying the NA hood to resemble a TII hood? I have a spare hood to hack up, so if anyone has done it, please show some pics so I can get a good idea.
Please no BS about an FMIC. If my budget allowed it at this time, I would not be asking the hood question.
Any help is appreciated, I don't have alot of time to get these two things worked out. I guess I can call Racing Beat.

it might bolt up, the NA pre silencer is 2.5" depends if your down pipe is 3" or 2.5" go to RB and call them and ask them about the length issue.
for the hood, i would just try and fit it on with engine in the car, figure out where the intercooler sits, and cut a large hole where the intercooler is. then you could try and make a small scoup out of thin sheet metal to go around the hole to make it functional.

Question 1:
Itll fit (to my understanding as dDub and I investigated it last night), except you'll have that stupid split air pipe hanging off.
Question 2: TII hoods are easy to come by, if you want http://www.speedmachineperformance.com has CF hoods.

call racing beat .. they are good people and will tell you quickly ..
the hood is gonna be hard
.... see if you cant get in touch with chris reed ... he had an 87 TII, plus another TII that he bought recently ... i know the first TII that he had is now undertaking as massive project, which involves a front mount ...(alteast i hope with the amount of boost he's planning on running) so he might be able to let one of the hoods go
