2 even pulses and no 3rd pulse?
On one (the front one) of the rotors of a rebuilt Large street port S5 turbo engine we have two evenly strong Pulses then there isn't a third one at all. On the other rotor (the rear rotor) there are three even pulses. Can anyone help us in this problem. The car does not want to start.
Thanks

sounds like you broke a side seal. that's the only way you would lose compression on only 1 face. happened on my first rebuild... i didn't put the side seals back exactly where they had been and 100 miles into break-in i lost one, luckily it didn't mess up my housings or rotor.

Anyway, as stated, a broken coolant seal is pretty much the only cause of that. If its a fresh rebuil, it prob just wasn't put in quite right. As far as I know, broken coolant seals dont do a whole lot of damage, Youll just have to yank the motor and replace it.

If it was Pineapple's mistake (misplaced side seal, etc.) then maybe, just maybe, they might rebuild it again for you for no charge. Call them up.
