For triple the stock boost, you're sure not making more power, provided your datalog is even correct.

Yes, I would like more proof. But then again, you said you had nothing to prove? Pick a side, or you look like a hypocrite.

If youre willing to pay the ticket and the rise in insurance rates, Ill be more than happy to take it up to 6500rpms for you. However, you should know ( since you do know everything about these cars with 100% assurity, right? ) that the turbo wont hold 15psi that high. It bleeds boost...Its always bled boost...Not even stock cars will hold their boost until redline.

How do you know what power I am ( or am not, for that matter ) making? Oh...thats right...Youre just guessing. Youre just assuming that all youve heard is true, and that since you and your friend are incapable of getting a car to run at 13psi, mine must be making no power ( or be on the verge of blowing up ) at 15psi.

Forget it. Im not gonna provide you with more proof. You even went so far as to doubt that the datalog is even accurate.
You ask for a datalog...I give you a part of it where Im at 15psi...and then you hint at its validity? Right that really makes me want to go through the trouble of posting another one.

I replied to your other thread explaining how to get the datalog up...

Considering I've seen a stock setup @ 90% duty cycle at 14psi detonating with stock timing, I don't think that equates as a 'guess'

adamlewis- So your saying that the Haltec engine manegement system magically changes the capacity of a fuel injector? Please explain to me how that works. Thanks.

Maybe you have aftermarket injectors?

this is what I am thinking. He probably has 680's or something. From what sonicrat and others have stated from experience on better testing equipment than just driving around on the street its really hard to beleive this all on just stock fuel except for a walbro pump.

Anyways I want to see the AFR's and have the injectors verified as 550's before anyone starts to beleive this load 0 poop and tries the same thing Adam pulled by accident and causes some serious damage.

the whole topic of the post is stock IC and injectors...

I dunno, but this post is as useless as it is long... its just an argument that's going to go back and forth. And sure enough, some unlucky kid is gonna think "hey if it worked for this guy, i'll crank mine up too", and the backlash won't be pretty.

I know what power you're making through mathematical equation. I took the fuel added at 75% duty cycle at 55 psi rail pressure, took the maximum safe afr, and calculated the resultant hp from it. I'm sorry if you can't do math, or think it does not exist, but in case you didn't know, engines follow the laws of physics. So, yes, I know your HP level, and its pathetic.

You didn't post a datalog, you posted ion a thread. Your is about as valid as mine:
10,000,000 rpm.... 360 psi of boost... 14.7 stoich afr... 10% duty cycle on 550 cc injectors, and only one was firing. Other 550 cc injector comes on when I use the EBC and hit the second boost level.

Fact is, you proved nothing, and I still call you a liar. There is more proof that you're being incorrect than you are correct.

Oh... and where's this dyno we were promised? . Just another bullshitter.

Also, me and "my friend" currently much more than 15 psi.... but we're also not claiming it on the stock turbo or the stock injectors. I have tuned engines, you have not, so don;t talk to me about ability.

Im not saying the haltech magically does anything. Im just telling you whats happening.

I have stock 550cc injectors, and a walbro 255lph HP fuel pump. If I didnt have stock injectors, I dont think my car would be running very well on Hitmans maps...

Ill get AFR's when I go dyno..At this point in time theres no need to.
I was going to go friday but my trailing coil pack stopped working. I can tune leading ign advance and IOT myself, but Im lost when it comes to messing with the split. Thats why I was taking the car to RX-7 store and getting it tuned. However, since my trailing plugs arent firing anymore, I guess tuning the split is pretty pointless, no?

Like I said before, you all can believe me or not. I dont really care. I know whats in my car, and I know that its running 15psi awesome, and has the ability to run 19psi if I ever really had to.

Everytime I try and provide some bit of proof to you all, it gets shot down as "oh he doesnt really have stock injectors", "his datalog isnt real", "your boost gauge must be off", or some other BS. Whats the point in providing you all with "proof" if youre just going to look for ways to discredit it?

Well Ill be the first to tell you the power Im making is far from pathetic. The car made 220whp @8psi, and now its running at 15. Why dont you do the math on that one?

I posted one line from the datalog where it was at 15psi. Even if I were to post the whole thing as a txt file, whos to say youwouldnt go off and claim that I edited the whole thing? Theres just no point in trying to prove it to you anymore. Theres no need for me to get so worked up over whether or not some guy that cant even get a car to run at 13psi believes me.
You just go on believing Im not doing and stick to blowing up your buddies engines.

I explained about the dyno in my post above this one.

Geeeeessuuuzzzz! Why are you people getting worked up on this thread? If this guy wants to run 19 psi and claims the stock IC and injectors can handle it, let him do it. All I can say is from what I've seen on my dyno WITH a huge *** fan blowing at the IC, 15psi is over working the injectors at 90% and on the edge of running very very lean from what the Horiba Lambda was sensing. The graph showed at about 6500 rpm the lines were starting to break up *and* there was no detonation heard. So, although you do not hear it, it is there. The graph also showed loss in horsepower even though boost was turned up. The stock turbo at more than 15psi generates so much exhaust heat that the IC and injectors cannot keep up. There's no way you can pull 19psi *and* stock IC and expect to have the engine last more than a week.
I don't give a rats butt if you do have a Haltech. You are running *stock* 550cc injectors. The idea to longeivity is modding it to run safe at the desired level.
Every time I open this damn forum I see this stupid thread getting longer and longer and longer.
If this guy wants to and thinks it can, let him do it! The knowledgeable ones know it can't and ones who have been there know it can't.
So, breathe deep and exhale. Life is short.

Exactly what I meant of stock setup, stock injectors, turbo, intercooler, with a walbro, wasn't running the stock ECU either, how do you think we got the pulse widths that high? At 15psi at 90% we could hear it detonating.
