Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my convertible top not going up. the ebrake is up. the beeping goes off going down with out a problem. going up I have to hit the button over and over til it works. I replace the button worked fine for a while. put the top down today got it to come back up 3/4 of the way to where it stop to open the latches then wouldn't work. I tried the old switch. nothing, tried wireing a new switch nothing. tried jumping the connector wires nothing. finally just turned the screws to do it manually. I took both switches apart and cleaned them also go nothing.
switches working going down fine. could there be a relay problem in the motors for going up ?
I have read a bunch of forums about jumping wires under the hood. could someone tell me where they are so I can rule out a wiring problem over just needing a new switch again?
any advice would be great thanks a lot.
looking at the electrical online stuff now
