1988 Gxl with a twin turbo fd swap?
I've been looking for a wrecked fd twin turbo for a while, and i came across a website that sells the whole set up for $2300 and im very interested.
I was wondering if i can take the car in to BAR with that swap and get certification for it.
(I would put the cleanest cats, and mufflers i could on it.)

For CARB certification, the engine must be from a smog approved vehicle that is newer than your chassis. So the combo should work. Even LS1 swapped FC's can be CARB'd for example.
The concensus seems to be that this swap is not worth the effort to adapt all the harnesses, clearance issues with the twin turbo's, vacuum hose routing system, etc. In the end, it's usually easier/more cost efficient to rebuild a 13BT and go single turbo.
Edit: *Just saw duplicate thread with pretty much the same response*
