1988 13b into a buggy

Okay, i have a turbo charged 13b that i am putting in a dune buggy. I am running the stock 550 and 720 injectors that have been cleaned and matched. The turbo is a t60 turbonetics, i am running the microtech 8 for ecm. I was wondering what is the smallest radiator that i can get away with, it does have a good sized intercooler on it, also an oil cooler. I was thinking something like an aluminum civic radiator with a fan, the oil cooler is also on a fan.

Are you running 6psi or something with those injectors?

Wow, that thing is going to be silly-fast.

The size of the radiator is going to depend on the conditions in which you drive the car. Rotary engines tend to require a fairly large radiator, even with a good oil cooler and intercooler.

Fans are only intended for use when the car is stopped or moving very slowly. A moving fan will usually start restricting airflow to the heat exchanger when the vehicle reaches about 40mph.

Those injectors are good for about 300bhp, which is well over 6psig boost.

I have a stock radiator out of a rx7 but i want to go with aluminum for looks, a civic radiator is pretty small but if i recall the.
I also have an aluminum 26.5" by 18 in by 3/4 wide radiator.

The other radiator that i have is a ron davis. I am going to run the oil cooler up on the rear support bars. The intercooler is attached to the rear of the buggy. The only problem i am going to have is the rear bars that run down to the frame are going to hit the wastegate so i have to cut the bars and re direct them around it.

you guys must have never been to the desert (glamis/gordons etc..) you ned a lot of power to get up the big hills ( if your going to be racing LS1 and subaru buggies you going to need some big HP#) thee are many 13b turbo and a few 20b (the big dogs)

with just a n/a you'll be racing the lowest of the VW guys.

Thank you, i am from michigan and there is a state park, silver lake that is 2000 acre sand dunes park right on lake michigan. There is some bad *** cars out there that i kind of want to run with. As for the wheelie bars i really do not thing i am going to need them that bad. The suspension in the back will be soft enough to squat when i take off, i may need them in the top end though. I have friends with pinto engines and they are heavier than the 13b, they are really *** heavy and barely wheelie. I am also running 3x3 trailing arms so this should also help. My digital is up at my apt, i will try and get it when sometime and post some pictures.
