No actually you are a dumbass.
The na transmission WILL hold the power of a t2 engine.
Mine has been fine for 2 years.
Your best bet before looking like an idiot (too late now, might get it next time) is to go to aaroncakes websete and do some non hateful reading.
You have so much hostility, this is a forum where we help each other....relax or find another hobby if this makes you angry.
That is at least2 agressive posts from you today......stop.

dude, shut the **** up. the reason why your na tranmission is "holding" the power is because 1) you swapped the motor over so it doesnt make any power, or 2) you havent driven that thing that much - because honestly, looking at how ugly your bastardlized... thing is, i wouldnt drive it much either, or 3) your thing dont run so it goes back to 1 or 2.
i am sure you can put the same transmission behind a BBC and it would hold up as long as you baby it. it does not mean the na transmission can handle the power of a bbc.
it is not a matter of... will a NA transmission hold up to the power of the T2 motor. Those things break under a NA powertrain under hard driving - esp when they have 6 digit figure mileage on there.
It is more of a - when will this transmission break under the power of a turbo motor
Maybe you should read aaron cake's thread again since you love his **** so much and see how many miles he have put on the car - and how many of that was spent under full-throttle - continous use.
his transmission also died by the way.
It is a horrible advice to be telling people to use inferior parts because you *think* it would work.
I see people like you everywhere... Reminds me of people who put saginaws behind bbc... except they have the knowledge to know that the question is - when will it blow up.
And really - if you are getting offended reading my post - you are too easily offended and you should also realize that the internet is far from real life. i am not here to earn respect from people. i am here to kill time, throw my 2 cents in, and buy/sell random parts. If reading my post offends you that much - I suggest seeking a religion.

not only that - he had traction issues even at 4th gear.
fix the traction issue - if it grip - with the amount of power he has, I could only see the NA transmission lasting a few runs down the quarter
