The VIN doesnt give model type and neither does registration int he USA so i highly doubt it does in Canada. This in its own tells me something is up here. every car i have owned never has and the F-Body GM cars Trans Ams are just Firebird Coupes. As far as VIN being even the correct one for the car, just in case the Registration in fact says GT, doesnt matter. I had a friend who got taken on a "1985" Camaro V6. Turns out the Maro was originally a 92(knew this from the look of the car) 25th Anniversary Edition that originally had a 305 in it. The VIN was swapped every where it appeared on the car except the frame rail. His registration, insurance, and even a car fax said the car was an 85. The carfax and insurance said it was an 85. When car fax was ran on the frame rail VIN it showed the 305 and 92. Just goes to show what people will do

It's not a question of being a dick. It's not a question of subjectivity or opinion. It's a question of fact.
First off, the US market brochures you refer to don't list a model called a GT. There were only finitely many models of FCs in the U.S. The FAQ also includes a list of terms, and within those terms are the names of all models of FCs sold in North America. Between this list of terms and the lack of a GT being mentioned in the marketing brochures, I know that America did not receive a naturally aspirated model called the GT. Quod Erat Demonstrandum

The guy is from Canada, not the US. So I still say, you have no fact to prove.

If the OPs car was in fact a GT, it would have a turbo.
Proof:
OP's car is naturally aspirated.

I have honestly seen ONE of those in real life and they look nothing like the one in that vid. I am a Mustang Enthusiast as well as Rx7 Enthusiast. It was at the gas station on a trailer near where I live, the owner was filling up his truck. I am a Mustang Enthusiast as well as Rx7 Enthusiast so i know what the GT-R Stang looks like.I like living 15 miles from the Pocono Raceway. Gives me a chance too see all kinds of rare cars and stuff. Even cruised around with a few of them. Scariest thing though is going down a 2 lane and seeing 30 Porsche's weaving among each other in both lanes. Talk about Pucker Factor!!!

Yeah I noticed that too, but my car is the same way. The rear RX-7 sticker on my car (an 87) is worn like crazy, but my side GXL stickers are in perfect shape. I'm the original owner too.

You clearly lost the battle to reading comprehension. Did you manage to find the list of various trims in the FAQ yet? It includes ALL North American models. There is no model listed called a GT that came as a 4-lug. The only model of FC ever made simply called "GT" was turbocharged, with 5-lug. The GT model did not even exist in the U.S.; the one referred to in the FAQ is an international model.
If the OPs car was in fact a GT, it would have a turbo.
Proof:
OP's car is naturally aspirated.
:. OP's car is not a GT.

The fact the car is not turbo does not say that it is a fake.
I'm not saying the car is in fact a GT. But you are saying it isn't with no proof aside for the fact it's not turbo and because you can get a stick that say GT from any auto parts store.
So therefore I still win, because I am not making any claims as to what the car is, I am just saying not to say it's fake because of a stupid reason.

There is in fact an SN95 GT-R. SN95 covers 1994-2004 year model mustangs. The GT-R was made somewhere between these years and are extremely rare. I will check up for some pics on my mustang forum and get back to you.

Sorry it was not a GT-R it was a 95 Cobra R. I knew it had an R in it lol. Still extremely Rare. Only ever 250 of them ever made in that year and 300 Cobra R were made in 2000. I know lots of people that have never and probably won't ever see one up close and personal.

Ah but for all that is know, the car could have an N/A swap done.
The fact the car is not turbo does not say that it is a fake.

I never said that one can buy a sticker that says GT inherently makes it not a GT. That's simply a possible explanation for why the car has such a sticker. Bear in mind, this sticker isn't worn evenly with other such stickers on the car, which strongly implies that the car itself was never the turbocharged model that the sticker claims it is.
However, if it is that important to you, I will concede. You win all the internets for the day.

On my way to school this morning and a little early so i stop to Mcdonalds to grab some breakfast. Im the only person in the drive through and im at the second window. Suddenly i hear a whining noise that seems to pulse. Then i hear what seems to be a car hitting the building. I look behind me to see a Riced out Civic has tried to commit suicide. So i pull into a parking spot and run over to see if anyone is in it and cant because it has glass so dark i could probably see through coal with better luck. It even has the windshield tinted. So i figure what the hell and try to open the door and its locked. The whole time im trying to look into the car its humping the building. Then an employee comes out and says "oh **** someone stole my whip." So then im like Hey is this your "whip"? Then he is like "****, not again that is like the 8th time this month. Must have left it in gear last night." He had remote start on a 5 speed. So then i proceed to get my order while he is moving "White Lightnin' "(thats the cars name I assume from the windshield banner) back into the parking spot. I wish i would have video taped the whole thing. It would have been awesome to have on here and youtube.

Well i knew it wasnt going to have a turbo rotary, with pistons and headers. Thats only possible on a Civic and then it would even be DOHC. Speaking of Civics just a funny little story here.

But in all seriousness, there is no reason to say it's not a GT because of a non-turbo hood. If you put a turbo hood on your car, does it make it TII? No.
Also, there may have been a turbo model with 4 lugs. You never know. Just like Mazda said only S5 Tubro's came with an LSD. Even though the GTUs also came with an LSD.
And I won the internets for all the day! I am awesome haha

It can be reasonably deduced that the car was a turbocharged car, from the fact that it has a non-turbo hood which has faded and worn evenly with the rest of the body, no 4-piston brake calipers, 4-lugs, and a non-turbo engine. Unless someone took a turbo shell and swapped on all of these things, it is not a GT. That is a fact.
I never said that one can buy a sticker that says GT inherently makes it not a GT. That's simply a possible explanation for why the car has such a sticker. Just because you have not seen a TII with 4 lugs, does not mean that somewhere out there in the world, Mazda screwed up and made a few that were 4 lug.

GTUs's were technically a TII without the turbo motor. That's why Mazda stopped making them.
Collin- Stop being a smartass and posting a picture 4 times in a row, that's annoying.
