17x8 questions

quick question lookin at a set of 02 mustang gt bullit wheel for 150 bucks... i kno they are 17x8 's with a 45mm offset... i have seen a white fc in town with 01 svt cobra wheels that looked nice just wondering if anyone knows if these wheels will fit without problems

I would say you need about a 10mm or more spacer, i have 17x8 +35 on the front and 17x9 +35 on the rear and they fit well, i think any closer to the struts would be a bad situation

also look in the fc wheel fitment thread there is great info there.

Those are not 02 GT wheels if they are 17X8 +45. They are probably 05+ GT wheels. They look similar to the 01-04 GT/Bullitt wheels. You WILL need spacers to make them work. Probably better off selling them and getting the right ones.

ALL 17X8 Mustang and Cobra wheels that were OEM during years 94-04 are 17X8 +30. These fit the FC with NO problems.

ALL 17X9 Cobra wheels for 94-04 Mustangs are 17X9 +24. These fit the FC but may need fender rolling, and additional negative camber.
