1700 dollars coming in april what mods should i do next
i just bough my 7 in december and it's an 87 gxl. it came with headers, exhaust lightened flywheel, and an hks filter intake. I just ordered a safc for her mostly for emissions and fuel economy. It is a red car and the paint reflects the age of the car and stock rims. Not to mention i just orderd another set of mufflers for the car since the once the previous owner put on her were definitely rice. Have you ever seen a 5" exhaust tip. My god my car sounds like it's about to die. The point is i have 1700 dollars coming to me in april do to a debt somebody is paying back to me. what do you think i should do with the 1700 dollars towards my car. any must have mods you guys think i should get. I now bow before your all knowing knowledge rx7club.

If you wanna make it look a little more snazzy you could pick up a set of rims with tires that look good for it.
How about some suspension parts, like new springs and struts? Or get the Racing Beat suspension package, consists of RB Sway bars front and rear, eurothane bushings, and RB springs all around, and you'd still have about 1k left over after you bought those parts too. So with left over cash you could get a new clutch, like an ACT or something.
I'd say suspension though would be a great buy. Make the car handle even better then it does.

Suspension first . I suggest some entry level coilovers, very street friendly and better than stock, check tein, $800 price range.
With 800-900 dollars left you can get some FD rims, and azenis tires
Don't forget the spacers.

Haven't we ALL heard this
I would go with the RB suspension pacage like said before
500
Then get some nice tires (I mean grip not looks)
500 mounted
700 to go
Then I would get upgraded brake pads and ss brake lines
200
If you have the time and tools to do this. Bushings and dtss elminator. This entails dropping the rear end of the car (diff and suspension) and pressing four bushings. Upfront four are pressed. If you do all the work your self this should be
100
200ish if you take the stuff out to get pressed.
Lets assume 300 left because you have probaly bought tools.
Next a water temp gauge might be a good idea.

Then use the last bit of money to dyno tune your SAFC
