168 to the wheels in a stock 87 t2 ???
The other week i had mt 1987 t2 dyno'd and i put 168 to the wheels , now correct me if im wrong but that seems a little on the high side . Then the other day i installed a boost guage and it read 7 psi . Does anyone have any ideas why im 1.5 psi up on boost ??? thanks

I have no mods besides the boost guage and a/f guage and that wouldent do anything to increase power , and when i made the dyno runs i didnt have them .

it probably has a boost controler or gutted cats or something. probably done by the past owner if not by you. stock is 5.5.
or if it's an autometer gauge you could very well be only running 5.5

Are you sure you're stock? What did the previous owner do to the car. You'll get 7psi with a downpipe replacement of the pre-cat or if the cats have been punched out. You'de also get a bit higher than stock if the air filter has been replaced with a K&N drop. Could also be a non-stock exhaust. Anyways, this is a good 'problem' to have.
