I see some people enjoy theoretical calculations. I just drive & grin. Joy isn't around the next turn, it IS the next turn.
Each day on the way home: cruise at 70, check for cops/traffic, approach acute right, at 300 ft double pedal down shift 4-3-2-1, nip the apex while rolling in throttle, nail 2nd at 6500. YEE HAA..

On some mornings, (in the morning this is an acute left) the light is stale green coming off the side road: approach at 40 in 2nd (main road is 4 lane divided), cross the crown (road goes off camber), roll in throttle according to how much drift you want to show those waiting at the light, up to 60. Woo Woo. Cruise past cops favorite radar spot 1 mile up.

Your 24.88" (632mm) diameter is a calculated figure, which rarely matches reality (don't ask me why, ask the tire makers). It's also the overall diameter, which is the wrong number to use because the bottom of tires compress under the cars weight. You need to measure the distance from the ground to the center of the wheel. This'll give you a 300mm rolling radius

Yea, just like everybody else said....160mph wouldn't be difficult at all to achieve. I hit 148mph in my 86 SE which had Racing Beat dual outlet header, dual 2.5" Y-piping to dual 2.5" Sebring Exhausts. Blitz filter, electric fan, no p/s, or ac components installed. Overall lightened body by about 150lbs all around. 75 front, 75 rear. Erebuni body kit.

I have a GPS and in open sky it will tell you where you are with in 14 Ft. The only problem is you need to be at that max speed for up to 1400 ft! On my old wore out GTUs N/A i got 119 mph with out pulling any more than 6k RPM

Haven't we ALL heard this
Yeah, GPS is the way to go. That spedo probally isn't going to be accurate. My Garmin 295 tells me it is inacurate at 55.
For those of you guys going over 120 MPH... I hope you know what tire speed ratings are and how to read them for your tires and why they are important.
