a 14 second timeslip on a N/A MOTOR IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE
I CAN HIT LOW 15'S IN MY 90 AND IF I HAD A STAND ALONE AND SOME SLICKS YOU COULD DROP ANOTHER SECOND OFF OF THAT. I HAVE KNOWN PEOPLE THAT HAVE HIT HIGH 14'S WITH ONLY BOLT ONS.
YOUR NAMESAKE,
JEREMY

kickass, you are my man jeremy1. i'm thinking tein coilovers, apexi intake with cusom cold air box, safc, single muffler exhaust with 2.5" piping and rb headers, advanced timing, removal of anything interior wise no needed, throttle body mod. i want to try and stay in the street prepared autox class, but get as close to the 14's as possible. probably be running 225 kumho's around to keep handling nuetral.

I know that it can be done. I ran a 16.0 with a 2.7 60ft. so if I cut a 1.90 60ft I would be at a 15.2 my mods are posted in my prev post. I know that Vosko got 1.9 sixtys on street tires in his NA fc. with a light weight flywheel, drag slicks, and true duel exhust I know that I could have ran in the low to mid 14's.

but why when I could just do a t2 conversoin? my car should run in the mid to high 13's now. hahahahahah-and the best part is that she still has a lot of potential left in her

Can we see a time slip of 14.3?

I must be doing something wrong. My car will almost do a 180 when hitting second gear on the drag strip. I have to let off the gas to continue moving forward.

I can't run anything near a 14.3.

I am talking about when I shift into second gear the *** end tries to come around on me everytime I shift into second gear. Hence the 180 comment...

Its not quite that bad, if just an idea of what happens.

Its spins so bad, it ends up hitting 7000 rpms and I have leave off the gas to make it stop spinning. It just won't stop..

sounds like you're pounding into secind gear too hard and your tires are all-seasons. could be having so toe problems if your suspension is to worn, allowing the tires to toe out under the force and pull the rear end out. just throwing out ideas.

My suspension is brand new. And I am running Double A traction tires.. They are not all seasons.

I need slicks that would fix it.

Yes its a bitch to get it to not spin... But I enjoy the response I get from the smaller rims. So slicks would be best for me @ this point. I think so anyways..

I'll see if i can dig up a time slip from this past summer... but i had 26"x9" slicks on my GXL wheels.. car planted nice and can take them 5K lauches.. not bad for 180k mile suspension, eh?

the traction rating of a tire is not aplicable to any drag racing traction ,as traction rating is determined on a WET test surface, measururing braking preformance in the rain, not grip on dry pavment. Its probably all season if its AA traction, does it have M+S on the side?

No I don't see any MS on the side of the tire.

The tires I have are high performance Cooper Cobra XST. They may be All Season..
