ya well........ im working on the rebuild thing lol. o well soon i will have a fresh engine but for now, seing as how i have everything else except the fuel filter. ill do that this weekend :-P

as for the water trick buy a can of amsoil power foam its made to take off carbon deposits and other unwanted build up inside of engines and it worked great for me, my idle was smoother and the car just felt better overall after using it, be sure to either clean or replace the sparkplugsd after using it tho

i have 185 thousand miles in my 86 na fc, and i run 87 all the time. i take my car way past redline all the time, and i endup getting 150 miles to the tank when i dogg it too much. but then again when i drive like a normal person i get 200 miles per tank.
just use the cheapest. not in quality but in price. ived notice my car runing like crap from some gasoline companies. i mainly use shell, bp, and quick trip.
