ha the exhaust sleeves are in there... just hard to tell cuz of some overspray

ah such a long time..

well here are some of the things that got accomplished this summer..

I switched to a koyo radiator like as some of you said i couldn't cool the car during long pulls..... i never got to do a 5th gear pull till i had the koyo.... now i can do full 5th gear pulls when it is 100 degrees and it never gets above 205. Air temps on the air charge stay very nice too, usually not more than 20 deg. over ambient

pic of the rad... it is an integra core... it is the same thickness as the rx7 koyo core but has more surface area

Next i got a water injection kit, and to say the least i love it. I got the cooling mist digital Varicool system... which is progressive and you can connect to a pc and change different things. I installed the pump in the spare tire area as you can see along with a sweet 3 gallon reservior , dont want to run out. the controller box is in the glove box as seen. and you can see where the injector is

I am sure i am forgeting other things, but that is the jist. I got some wrap on the DP now.... dirty dirty engine bay

and some pics of what it looks like now... oh yeah lowerd the front 2"

Wow, so is that NA diff still in it? That's awesome.

Now did you get the Integra cooler because of the increased size, or because it fit your setup like the stock teg cooler did? Just curious.

13brew--- custom mounted with crossmember
Large SP, 9.7 comp rotors, mirror polished rotors
Garrett gt4202--- got bored so custom antisurge cover
Haltech e8
Coolingmist Varicool AI system
custom aluminum oil pan... so i could use a s5 cover with the rew
RB lower intake manifold
custom upper intake manifold and tb assembly (from 5.7 vortec engine)
custom fuel rails, cooling neck, ect...
BI turbo manifold
Tial 44mm WG---- recirculated into the 4"dp
Koyo Rad.----- mounting all redone.. stood up straight..ect.

recap... the car did base 12's on 10psi this spring and never was to the track till now this coming weekend

here is a short vid of me vs a grand national with a truck 6.0l with a very large single turbo... this car does 11.7@127mph to give an idea, i am on 15-17psi using the antilag for only about 5psi on the launch.. still destroying the DR's..
just to give an idea of what the car sounds like.... ya i missed 3rd

turbo is loud though... that is for sure

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC5YJgW6I4A

car will be tuned FINALLY very soon... I beat the **** out of the thing everynight in the boonies where i live after work this summer... still runs like a champ

ya the na rear still is in there and will stay until it grenades.... i really dont know how it doesnt break.. i guess i have solid rear mounts and have an adjustable pinion snubber for the front. the front of the diff was moving up 1.5" before i had the snubber... now it is locked in place and the snubber takes alot of twisting force off of the diff... and no f*cking wheelhop with the snubber

yeah the first rad had a core thickness of 5/8"... yikes the koyo is a little better than 2"... but it dropped right into the mounts i had for the first radiator.. just alittle bit of changing

Your car is pretty damn'd quiet.

^^

we will find out what it can surley handle on Saturday at the track...

i should have my hands on some slicks and should be able to pull a 1.5xx 60ft if the rear holds... i just dont want to end up in the wall if it decides to grenade

i launch at around 6000... the car will be running maybe up to 20psi this weekend

ha untunned and on pump gas..... stupid yes... but no one is ever available to tune the thing

Well the weekend didnt go as planned... i had problems all day

the car did 12.1-12.3's in the morning on 16psi and 1.7-2.0 60fts at only 108mph and i could not figure WTf was going on... i missed 3rd or 4th 80% of the runs also

But i figured out what the problem was finally.... because of my exhaust with the 4 mufflers (yes very quiet) when i would shift to 3rd or 4th it would take forever for the car to get back into boost.

We took the exhaust off, so just 4" DP and turned the boost to around 14psi and my traps went from 108 to 116-117.... thats the difference that made... but by the time i got this all done the track was slippery and i could only manage 2.1 60fts on the DR's so still 12.1-12.2 times and missing gears badly

well one good thing i guess... i borrowed a pair of tiny 7" slicks for 2 runs at the end of the day.... It is proven that the NA rear can pull a 1.5xx 60ft because both runs managed it..... but the car was all over the track wandering so i had to get in and out of the throttle down track to keep it straight and still only did 12.1's

if i could of stayed in it... should of been a solid 11.7-11.8 pass..... But yes a NA rear will take a 1.5 60ft

Disappointing day as i wanted an 11.50 but all things considered... we have two more street legal days. and hopefully i can get it tuned some weekend for big boost

ill post a vid up or two so you can see

oh yeah and dont forget to turn the water injection back on after the burnout.......I did and the car started banging hardcore midtrack and lost one rotor...... but it came too again somehow.... runs alittle rough at idle but still pulls good vaccum so i dunno... all i know is the motor has been through hell not being tuned and getting its **** pushed in

and was only running mid 14's

no no nothing like that

my car was robbed, epic long story..... in the end i got everything back and money for damages, but the car is tore apart still back at home

If you care to read the story in is these two links, perty crazy, lets just say two guys worked on my car 3hrs straight right infront of my house

http://www.fargostreet.com/forums/sh...hlight=theives
http://www.fargostreet.com/forums/sh...hlight=theives

the car was going to be tuned on the monday after this happened, so obviously it didnt

the track day before this happened it did pull a 1.52 60ft on tiny 7" slicks and didnt break the NA rear, couldnt hold throttle full track because with the skinny slicks and low air press i was wandering all over the track, still ran a 12.1 getting in and out of it multiple times, would of been a solid mid 11 if i could hold throttle

this was on 14-15psi untunned on pump, with alk inj.

Ha but yes it still runs despite the hell the engine has been through, I am a believer in RA super seals

No updates till spring, as i will be working on incorperating an auto into the car hopefully ....possibly a dogbox, because i am fed up with the stock box, all i get is headaches................ with some other work

The big turbo falls out of boost to easily with out mad shifting, if you could keep that thing spooled all the time, the ET's would be crazy ..... IE. AUTO
