IIRC chris in spearfish was using a deseil turbo intercooler on his FC. Try PM'ing chris_stampe

I think he had to cut it way down though to get it to fit.

No, you can properly size an intercooler to see if it's going to cause a big restriction in your intake system or not.

For example, a 2" thick by 8" tall by 20" wide intercooler that runs left to right, will offer a HUGE restriction on almost any engine (it has 2" x 8" = 16 sq-in of available charge space, take 45% of that because not all the space is available for flow, and you're left with less than 8 sq-in of charge area through your intercoler)

However, the same intercooler running top to bottom will offer much less restriction (2" x 20" = 40 sq-in, take 45% and you're left with 18 sq-in of charge area for the hot air to go through, much less restrictive) PLUS it offers the same amount of space for ambient air.

Its the sneezer, releasing excess air pressure from the braking and suspension system. Pretty much everything on a truck is air operated, even the windshield wipers on some.
