**CorkSport Exhuast any good?**
I was on corksport the other day and saw there exhaust for our fc's for like $289.00 or something. Its a cat-back and looks pretty nice, cheap 2
So heres the deal, has anybody heard this exhaust? If so do u think its worth it?
The powergains on it were good or bad? Ive searched and found nothing, help is needed because im looking for a new exhaust.
heres a pic

i dont know why there is so much hate for the cs exhaust. its is a well built exhaust that serves its purpose and i think it sounds bitchin. i guess its personal preference.

the corksport exhaust looks suspiciously alot like the SS autochrome setups on ebay, with the exception that you get a cat, midpipe and downpipe with the SS autochrome setup and all for $100 cheaper.
you could try different resonator combos to get the sound you like out of it.
stolen directly from the SS autochrome auction page off ebay...

i sold my RB catback and will be getting a CS VERY soon. the corksport has been out way before the ss exhaust. but if they're the same then i'll just get the SS one.
i'm only worried that it'll sound different from the corksport.
edit, the ebay one is a 5ZIGEN muffler..

we need a sound file of each exhaust to compare.
flip between the pics real fast and your head will spin! lol
they look IDENTICAL to me.., the SS autochrome even tapers down at the midpipe to accomodate mating to a smaller exhaust like a stock downpipe such as a catback setup.

I agree, especially when the RB isn't even that great imo like everyone thinks. I have only seen one RB exhaust to date that doesn't hang down too far AND was equal height on both sides, and that was on RarestRX's car. Everyone I see with RB has the tips hanging way too low and you can see the canisters, looks awful IMO, either that or it's lopsided where one side is lower than the other. The hanging low part could either be fault in design (or lack there of if people like how that looks), or merely because the old exhaust hanger doughnuts are worn, I don't know. And the lopsided tips would be the fault of the owner, I know that.

i thought it was interesting and i figured i'd save some people some cash, oh well.
alot of people don't realize that alot of makers make different things with different labels but they are the same still. pay $95 at the dealer for a Delco battery or you could go to wal-mart and get the same for $40, just an example, one of many.

They probably look the same because they use the same ricer fart can maybe? The racing beat exhaust ARE everything they are stated to be, they are awesome. I have files of an RB turbo back and a CS exhaust if you all want me to post the links. You all can be the judges if you want but i'd pay the extra ANY ******* day.

Yeah it works, if by "serve its purpose" you mean be loud, nasty, ricy looking, and get you skanky bitches and "ho's" that will blow you for being an attention ***** at the local ricer fest...err...I mean....uh...uh...uh...."car hang out." Yeah sure it makes your ***** grow about 4-6 inches depending on how loud the other ricers....errr..."fast and the furious" cars are compared to yours.

Side note, the power gains on RB's site are skewed, for the TII at least. Because that includes the increased boost that comes with it, so it's more of an increase from exhaust flow and boost, not just exhaust.

if you buy the whole system, then yes it'll do what it should do, it's just cheaper cause it isn't duals and because it doesn't reduce sound at all, but it's probably the best bang for the buck

those power gains can be acheived by just a downpipe. the only reason any free flowing exhaust makes power on an FC is because of boost creep. all 3 inch turbo back exhausts will make around the same power.
