$800 what should i do?
ok, so after a long summer working i finally have $800 saved that i can spend on my car. I have a rb turbo back exhaust, fcd, tid, boost controller and guages, and well thats about it really. The car is an 89 turbo2
So i was thinking about getting a few things...
1. get the fuel mods that i need, walbro 255, 720 secondaries, and a safc2
or
2. this was just an idea i am going to through out to u guys...... get a bnr stage 3 turbo.
But with that i am afraid i will not have the proper fuel mods to support it. With that turbo what psi could i run safely on stock fuel, or with just the walbro. I dont want to hurt the new turbo or my new motor so if it is not possible/ smart i will wait til nesxt summer.
What would u guys go with? or any other good ideas?

jkimbro- can i ask what your set up is. I would like to know what u did to get your mid 13 sec pass.
So fuel is pretty much the correct choice here. I thought with the fuel mods a a good tune, (like leaning the mid range) i would see a little power, or atleast some number change at the track.
thamks guys!

Stock S4 block
Stock S5 turbo - (13.43 was made on a stock S4 turbo though)
SAFC
720cc secondaries
AVC-R EBC
3" Turbo back (single)
Custom 3" intake
I was running 14.2's all day with a standard cone filter and the stock rubber piping between the AFM and the turbo, and a 2.5" exhaust. I opened both ends up to 3", and tuned it to run mid 13's.

^^^ best thing to do
Or spend it on doing routine maintenance on your vehicle so that it is a reliable and safe car to get you back and forth from work

so its possible to hit mid 13s with 720's, walbro, and safc2 with some good street tires, with my current mods. That would really make me happy, and would be worth the money to see the numbers.
Thoughs are not bad ideas either.
yea saving my money for emergancies would be a smart move bt thats not very Amarican, i like spending every cent i make on new cool, things. Especially ones that will eventually make my car use even more gas than it already does.

yes it is a 3 inch turbo back. So if i am going to be putting 720 cc injecters in the secondaries should i just go ahead and buy 720's for the primaires. I dont ever plan on going any farther than a fmic and a bnr stage 3 turbo.

Er...if you have a 3" exhaust..and no ported wastegate...and no fuel control...
I think you may be buying a new turbo soon, and possibly an engine.

OpticChrash, what kind of job do you have that only gives you $800 to play with on the car from a whole summers work? Blowing all the money you have available for the car with no "in case **** happens" money is not a good idea. Because, when something lets go you may have a very large paper weight for a while until you can scrape together enough $ to fix it.
I know you don't want to hear this, but this is why you see so many cars for sale with blown engines or just non running. People blow all their money and something breaks when they are over budget and can't fix it.
If you had a bit more $ to play with and had some backup $, I'd say port the wastegate, get a better fuel pump, bigger injectors, and get a stand alone EMS. SAFC's are a waste of money and provide pathetic tunability when compared to a decent standalone. The EMS will also come with a brand new engine harnes so you won't have to keep using the crusty old stock one that the SAFC will continue to use. You'll be ready for any turbo upgrade as well.
