Personally I would buy a stand alone ECU. You seem to already have most of the stuff you can do already without changing out the ECU. Then later when you get more money you can put in a nice big turbo.
Oh wait, you have stock suspension? You could go and buy some nice new shiny shocks and springs for some twisty road fun.

If I just had the lump sum handed to me like that, Id get suspension or brakes...
Only because its something I personally would probably keep putting off otherwise

Ya its something I am putting off too. My suspension i plenty good for what I do with the car now. Brakes? Well new pads and maybe some rotors, lol. Here are some of my ideas(not getting all of them, just options):
720cc secondaries
s-afc
standalone ecu
catback
upgraded turbo
fmic
bov
getting a/c fixed(its hotter than a **** down here)
boost controller
Right now I am interested in mainly performance in a straight line. I figure I'll work on looks early next year.

Personally, I would but lots of carbon fiber stuff from me.....
Seriously though, do you really want to spend it all on your car? Dont get me wrong, I love buying new stuff for my car, but I still have lots of things I could also use the money for. But if youre going to get car stuff, I would say get some good tires if you dont already have them, get some suspension stuff. But think about how much you need. If you dont do much road racing or corner carving, do you really need a fully adjustable $1500 suspension setup? With the left over money, I would try to get a good intercooler.

Nope haven't ordered the stuff in the "COMING SOON" part, lol. Was thinking about it. Like I said, I don't need suspension upgrades, they will come later on. Basically from an acceleration stand point I guess.

Well, with intake, downpipe, TID if you get the rest of the exhaust done you might want to do the fuel upgrades at the same time so you don't blow your engine. I think you pretty much have to do the fuel upgrades before you do anything else to add more power whether it be with a piggy back fuel controller or the stand alone ecu.

I'd put it in a money market account until the US economy really crashes (soon to come IMO), and then buy up a bunch of stocks for cheap, and sell them off in a year or two so that I can afford even better mods.

I would focus on getting things that make a big difference that you wouldn't otherwise be able to quickly afford. Something like larger injectors is easy to save up for in like a month or so, but a big investment part like an intercooler is always something just out of reach.
First thing I'd do is an intercooler - this is one of the biggest, best mods you can do power-wise on an FC. You gain a big margin of safety and more power. The intercooler is one of the foundation pieces that will stay with you for a long time.
I would definitely get suspension - you'd be amazed at the difference it will make! If you are mainly looking at drag racing (ugh), get at least some aftermarket shocks and springs - KYB AGX's and some Suspension Techniques springs. You could get that whole setup for under $600, and will really make a dramatic improvement on EVERY aspect of the car - you'd be surprised!
After that, I would probably take the rest of the money and get maintenance type stuff - do you need a set of tires? Maybe a set of drag tires and rims? Motor mounts? Diff mount? Some Redline oil for the tranny and diff? Fix that broken door handle?
Might even be worth getting a wideband - you can get the Lamdaboy for $485 ready to rock (http://www.lamdaboy.com) and charge your friends to use it .

Well, if it was me, i would probably buy a engine to fill the 8sqr foot gaping hole that apeared in the front of my car,
but if i was in ur shoes i would probably go standalone, i would do my best to tune and spend extra $ on some dyno time to tune the hell out of it

Well I already have the downpipe and midpipe. I definitely want to get my a/c fixed. Thats going to happen. Going to get larger injectors because I will need them either way. Thinking about a fmic now. Where can you buy the GReddy for the cheapest?

Hah... So far the only good idea I've seen is from Evil Aviator... Why spend money when you can make it? And remember the saying, it takes money to make money. Or at least invest $500-1000 of it.
