I went with a no name importer for my 13BT about four or so years ago... Bad idea. One of the rotors was blown. Now that I have the knowledge that I do, I'll go through Japan2LA next time.

You can buy a full container of Type R honda motors, SR20DET, EJ20..etc etc etc.. whatever you want... of course they mark the price up quite a bit.....but they are providing a service... Only bad thing about buying rotary is the faliure rate. For every 10 motors I get, 6 are usually blown... This is why almost every large importer has abandoned importing rotary engines.. A 20ft container would net you about 40 engines and a 40ft would hold about 80 to 100 motors.. Considering the failure rate of 60% or more you will probally take a serious loss if 60% or more turn out to be no good... Huge risk.. or you could get lucky...
Now if you could buy a container of 99 spec and newer FD swaps from them then it would be a different story...

take the 60% that are blown.
disassemble them all
mix the good parts together
make good/decent budget rebuild engine
scrap the crap
= profit
