great save there man. i would love to find a set of really nice cloth gtus seats like yours over my leather t2 seats. hot in summer and cold in winter and slippery in the turns... i would have kept the s5 front over the mazdaspeeds. now throw on some nice ms01's and your good to go.

Clean as always man!

What did you use to tint the sidemarkers? VHT nightshade? Diggin the Mazdaspeed front definitely makes it more aggresive, awesome job bro. You always have the best FCs.

Quick question: 5th pic down are those Starion wheels on the white FC? Any spacers? I like the stance.

Nice car btw.

Perfect man. I have always loved your cars, usually very tasteful and have beautiful paint thanks to your restorations.

Definitely inspired me, wish I had the money to do a clean oem build with JDM parts. I've always loved the Euro tails more since seeing them on a sliver FC with ms01s from Europe.

I would kill for some Ifini seats and JDM folding mirrors. Too bad I fit the stereotype of cheap fc owner.

I really liked the OEM t2 lip over the mazda speed.....It looks pure in a different type of way. Are you running spacer's? Figured getting the rear wheels a little more flush with the fender would add a nice wide stance.

Not sure of the brand. I don't think it really matters too much--as long as you have variable speeds. I use the Meguiers professional line of products. They should be readily available from either a paint-store or maybe a local auto store. They have a heavy-cut foam pad (it's red) and a foam polishing pad (yellow). I use the Diamond-Cut compound for cutting the paint (which REALLY makes the difference) and Swirl Remover 2.0 to take out the machine-swirls from the cutting compound.

Just to give an example of the before and after "cutting and buffing"--here's a couple pics:

After a minute with the heavy-cutting compound and pad:

Right on, do you have the JDM fogs? I want to try out the yellow look for a while, but that laminate stuff is frikkin' expensive! Maybe when the GTUs goes under the knife and I order the CAI stuff I'll get some too...

And those window visors are awesome. I saw some random local dude with a set on his car and definitely like the look.

Hmm... Yeah, I've never really had too much of a debate. The FC just looks much more angry with the scoop. I tried the clean look for a while with the RB catback, s5 turbo front-lip and the N/A hood, but got bored and used the HKS exhaust, Mazdaspeed lip and turbo-hood. Obviously I'm back to the RB cat-back, but I'm gonna stay with the "aggressive" look for a while until I try something different.

It's an '89.

Haha, great tip on the wheels. Those are actually the wheels I'd choose over these Infini's. And in the same way, I got tired of the s5 lip after a few months and was glad to change over to the MS--just to keep things interesting.

I just painted them gloss-black. Just got "rid" of them so to speak. I've used plenty of Niteshade, but decided that I just wanted them gone. I pulled the bulbs etc. I may go back to the colored lenses though--just to add some more contrast to the side-profile. The JDM side-markers are WAY better than the USDM yellow, so I'm fine with the side-markers either way. I just wanted to black them out for a while.

No spacers. Those pigs are 0-offset, and want to stick out FAR. Hence the rolled fenders on the while car. The fronts are even worse though, because the backs of the wheels hit the brake-calipers even with a 10mm spacer. Needless to say, a little careful modification is needed to get those Starion wheels to fit well.

1" spacers in the rear, 10mm in the front.

Haha, see... This is what happens when you take a pic with a ridiculously sick Digi SLR... Just so everyone knows--I am literally taking pics with a 5 year old 2.0 megapixel Canon Powershot, LOL. Luckily my FC partner and roommate just got an awesome camera.

That's one of my roommates other cars. It's a built, 2.9 VR6 swapped Jetta and has Corrado Speedlines on it (which I think work very nicely with the Mk2 body-lines).

This is probably my most favourite FC (after the auto-X one that has the rear oil cooler and huge wing, that one is just badass). Very clean, are those Infini wheels, how'd you get a hold of those?! How much louder is the HKS exhaust compared to the RB?

lol I'm glad you are still enjoying the plate holder. But you can't have my Espec tails, no matter HOW bad you want 'em!

The (s) is looking gorgeous Erik. A true beauty. I kinda dug the look with the N/A hood though. All the other goodies are first class.
Oh, and if you're not going to use em', I want those damn bumper mounted plate lights back!
No....seriously. They're the only thing missing from the s4 euro tail light set I recently picked up.
