World Time Attack Challenge FC

Just noticed this entrant for the WTAC this coming weekend at Eastern Creek Raceway in Aus. Thought some would like to take a look. Will be heading there to watch, and there are a few Rotors entered that should be very fast. Can't wait, and i'm glad now there'll be some FCs representing!!

Anyway, click here.

wow gotta love the selection of parts they used.. very solid car, should be a decent contender but going to be tough looking at the competition.

this is the 2010 list of cars. In 2011, it wasn't in the list of cars (saw 2 FD's though). Maybe they will add it?

edit:
Oopsy, was looking at a different class.

That FC is beast. Even if it isn't the fastest it still wins the competition in my book haha.

Beautiful!
Although, last "gt300" hood didn't look anything like that.
I really need to get some of those craft square (replica by the looks of them) mirrors, why did they have to mount the fc mirrors on the window and not the door !?! (so many more opinions for door mirrors.

Where did it say anything about a GT300 hood in that rundown?

Also, I think the mirror is mounted where the stock mirror would be. Just with the stock mirror removed and some triangular piece made up to fill it in. Then mounted to that. Kinda like what Super Now! does... In fact you can buy there mirror triangles for this purpose.

I intend to do the same thing. Kinda of a waste of time really, cause the stock mirror work just fine! Looks racey though.

...and by hood I mean...err....wing. LOL I guess this is why you don't respond via phone when you're half awake.

as long as its the FD lol

Garage revolution FD is about to break the record the Cyber EVo set last year. Its great to see that its a handful of cars in teh 1.30s instead of just one :P

Garage Revolution FD is in second now, behind the Cyber Evo.

Will try for pics of any and all FC's tomorrow!

The Turbosmart FC is 15th in class, and 29th overall. Not bad for a 25 year old car.

Unfortunately didn't get any pics...

Here are the final results though. The FC finished 12th in class, which is impressive considering the competition.

kudos to the front end.. When I first saw the car I was thinking it might not have enough downforce on the front without some spliters and canards etc.

It seems like they are dialing it down better each time so next year it may actually dominate
