yeah ... but i can't see **** at night with the oems, almost hit a deer one night cause i couldnt see a damn thing in the rain..i might just end up going with the ebay black housing projectors with 10000k hids and maybe find an s5 front bumper and get some fogs with it

I've also used Cibie housings with hidextra 6000k H4 bixenon kit. It works a -lot- better than stock for light output. I'd rather go the projector route. The headlamps on my 2011 Toyota make the reflector housing HID setup look horrible.
I'd stick with something like Cibie or Hella housings with high power halogen lamps if you need good lighting and reasonable prices. You could get housings and lights for less than $130.

I did a hid/projector conversion on my ninja. It didn't cost 800$!
My Setup on my zx6r:
Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini H4
Morimoto H4 Bulbs
DDM Tuning slim motorcycle ballasts (set on top of air-ram intake, so it had to be small)
Harness rewired into new loom so it's ninja approved with the relay in the trunk and grounded to the battery (all aluminum bike = no ground spots).
Ideal Setup for FC:
Bi-xenon Morimoto HID Kit from the retrofitsource $295
Pair of generic H4 sealed-beam housings $20
Thats just $315 for a nice setup. The sealed housings can be opened, tiny reflector in the center removed, and these quality projectors installed. It will allow factory high/low and adjustment (adjust the headlight like factory), all with a nice cut off and light output.
Crazy mother ******* charging $800. lolol
PS do not install "projector rings". They attach by cheezy plastic clips. One hard landed wheelie and they fell off and were stuck inside the headlight. Removing them completely does not affect light output and it doesn't bleed. I can picture it happening on an FC when you hit a pothole.

**** the mini kits are drop in, dont even have to drill out the housings
I have DOT housings, hopefully if a cop breaks my ***** he will see DOT on the housings and leave me alone, not like he wont have much more **** to bust me for, lol

The minis don't fit so a "drop in" is not possible.
