Odura is kind of a joke, making fun of Japanese accents, so when you see Odura, you know it's a knock off of the Odula (Try it, say "Odula" with a japanese accent, you'll say "Odura") Lol

The original japanese lip was named "Odula" All the other knock-offs were then named "Odura" here in the states. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the guy from Shine Auto was the one who I heard explain this. Whoever it was, I felt like they knew what they were talking about and trust worthy, haha.

so corksport odura has the hole in the middle, and odula doesn't. I remember shine saying their front lip is NOT a feed/odura replica but something of their own. is the odula still available? I have never been able to find it. I might have to get a shine, but i really don't want that hole in the middle.

Odula and Odura are the same style - the one with the opening in the middle, Odura is just the word Odula lost in translation. It is replicated by Corksport.
The one without the opening would be FEED. It is replicated by Shine Auto and Chargespeed. These companies claim that they are not replicated, but they look so similar it really doesn't matter.
Get the Odula/Odura/Corksport if you want to cut the bottom of your bumper, get the FEED/Chargespeed/Shine Auto if you just want to throw it on. The Odura/Odula/Corksport doesn't look right on a stock bumper.
Shine Auto is made out of hybrid FRP, Corksport's is fiberglass.
Yeah you got it a little twisted. Shine Auto's does NOT have the opening and although they say its not a replica, it's pretty much the same thing, so get it. Corksport has the Odura/Odula replica (the one with the hole).

i bent my corksport lip back onto itself, of course it cracked but it barely cracked, its pretty flexible.
these lips being sold as hybrid are nothing more then fiberglass with a flexible resin. I make my lip and can vary the amount of flex in them, the glass is the same. The term hybrid is a marketing tool that's all.

All I know is that the corksport lip is fiberglass and that it explodes if you ever hit anything with it. They have some flex but its nothing like the OEM stock bumper. which I wish they made lips out of.
