what to do with the FC's?
i've found myself with 2 FC's, and um space for one....
car #1. blue 87 gxl, it just turned 75k miles. since it sat in a driveway for 12 years, its never been in a parking lot and its the straightest FC i've ever seen. the downside is that it sat in a drveway for 12 years, so the paint and dash are destroyed from the sun.
mechanically its all stock, and everything works, engine is still nice and tight.
car #2. is a 91 coupe. it came minus interior. body is pretty good, but in black primer. it came with camber plates, and coil overs. the engine i got with the car (not installed) is a rebuilt REW, with all the intakes/wiring/ecu/solenoids etc etc. i have the 60-1 turbo that would finish this off.
plan A: i really like john V's GTUs, it seems like it would make a really FUN street car.
plan B: would be to peripheral port the REW engine, and go NA. i have a PP 1st gen, so A i don't need 2 and b with EFI it'll be totally streetable
plan C: is to cut #2 up into little pieces and mail it back to the PO
remember i live in the SF bay area, so it needs to pass smog, and 400hp is useless, i'm stuck behind a prius...

keep the 87 gxl. clean it up, and try to sell it and get some money back or garage it. 75k is low miles! i just hit 81k on mine and it will be my dd (i feel bad doing it..)
or the other option would be to put the coil overs etc in the 87, take the rebuilt REW and get it ready for a drop in into 87, and sell the 91 coup for extra cash for a new paint job, dash etc.
i picked up an 88 parts car for my 87 and it was in bad shape, the paint was REALLY ugly due to sitting out, but with an orbital and some griot's garage machine polish it cleaned up considerably! then with some purple stuff from the bmw dealership they use to clean the wheels cleaned them up beyond belief. i have pictures at home i can post to show the difference. - long story short...i think im keeping both now (since the parts car does run!!! )
