Update: RX7 Infini FC3S - Abandoned in Japan
This post is related to the "Mazda 'Infini" FC3S in abandoned caryard in japan" post (by Toyo Kogyo.)
Because it's a new video, I thought I'd start a new thread. And, let me just say that I know little about '80's Japanese cars and almost nothing about Mazdas ( oops, did I just say that...) I am enjoying learning though
I hope it is of interest.

Do not care much for modified cars? I know the number to a good shrink... I need you to post the video of you rescuing that beautiful piece of JDM history, and by that I mean nicking the **** out of it. I just can't forgive anyone who would just leave an FC there like that. Anyways, load it up tow it home and look forward to rebuilding the motor most likely.

really nice find !!!!
but in japan you can not just own a car, you need an assigned parking spot (they are numbered, and when you put the car to your name they go visit the parking spot and verify it exists and that it is truly legal). And in the Greater Tokyo Area some parking spots can go up to 40 000¥ per month (475$CAN/US).

What he's saying is true. However, since these cars have been abandoned, there is no payment for them to just sit there. Also, it's a used car lot that went out of business.

You can buy Infiny seats for like 100-150 bucks on Yahoo Auctions still need to pay for shipping though. For me it's not just the parts, it's the car in it's complete for that is special to me. Most collectable version of the FC IMO.

Im sure it's the same having classic muscle cars abandoned and forgotten about here in the states. Just different strokes for different folks.

There's good information spread out through this site. The Infini FC's only came with aesthetic changes, mainly to the interior, and special Infini coilovers.

I can't believe it's not been parted out by a japanese company that sells jdm parts on ebay.I would like the wheels, seats, steering wheel, and the taillights. I'm sure there other parts but I don't know. I am curious to know what the cost of the car would be as is. The glass would be nice to.
