tanabe springs or racing beat springs?
alright so im inbetween buying one of these 2 springs.
which one do you prefer?
i would also like pic requests of these equipped on your fc to see the difference because the RB springs advertise 1" drop while the tanabe springs advertise 1.5 inch drop.
oh and plus i picked up some tokico struts...but they are brown in color? what kind are these? i never seen em before. part no. is hu3633.
THANKS GUYS

I'll be the contrarian here then. I'm a Racing Beat all the way guy. Mazda cars are all they do, and RX7's are the primary platform they built their business on. I have first hand knowledge how RB's Jim Meter is in designing their springs.
Case in point, RB has different springs for Coups and Verts. A verts weight distribution is different, so RB's spring rate for front and rear is different when compared to their springs for Coups. Where as advertising by most other spring providers I've reviewed will say the same springs can be used for Coups and Verts. They don't seem to feel a different spring rate is needed for Verts vs. Coups.
Tanabe, to the contrary, is not so singularly focused in their R&D. Further, after just checking their web site, their FC springs applications advice doesn't differentiate between Verts and Coups.
So I'd put my money on RB's R&D anytime vs any other spring provider.

Photobucket is down right now but I have 2 FCs, one with Tanabe GF210s and the other with the Racing Beat springs. I have a few pics of them side by side and it gives a great comparison. So PM me later if you want the pics because I can't get them right now.
Personally I like the GF210's stiffness.

Here's my car the first day I had it (stock ride height), then lowered on tanabe's, and finally lowered on tanabe's with 15 inch rims. 1.5inches isn't much of a drop, I think I would have been disappointed if I would have went with racing beat and only gotten a 1 inch drop.

thanks for the pics absence, I have a 90 vert with factory wheels and wanted to lower my car and have been very indecisive, but now im gonna go with the tanabe, now do you have any advice on shocks, tokiko, kyb bilstien what ever, and advice would be great. and was it hard to get the alignment back to spec after lowering the car.

^^ I wanted only adjustable shocks with each of my two spring setups, and I did the research and supposedly the Tokico Illuminas were a bit softer than the KYB AGXs, so I matched the Illuminas with my RB springs and the AGXs with the Tanabe GF210s. In both cases I felt they did indeed match well. I had the AGXs dialed in to a near perfect neutral setup with factory bushings and factory sway bars.
After lowering each car, the only alignment that changes is the camber. Unfortunately, FCs don't have rear camber adjustment in stock form, but Big O Tires says that rear negative camber on the FCs (at least on my 87's, though I don't see why it wouldn't apply to all FCs) is ok between negative .5 and 1.5 degrees. With the GF210s and RB springs, the negative camber was still within this range and therefore stayed within recommended alignment.
^ I'm running the stock 205/60/15 on both my vert wheels and my GXL wheels.

s it doesnt bounce or beat u up to bad, I just want a lower stance with a tighter feel and I dont want to spend all this money and my time putting all this own just to get a stiff *** ride or a car that bounces all over the place like those honda guys u see riddin around with their cars slammed to the bump stops.
Thanks for the input, the info is greatly needed.
