ok, i guess im the only guy on here that sees this as a waste of time and money
do you know the reason behind the switch blade key? mercedes started doing it back in the early 2000's and vw followed suit
the reason behind it was to integrate the remote entry, ignition security, and key all in 1 nice little package, rather than the big hulky POS that the POS american cars seem to use......
i mean, have you seen the GTO key? what a ******* joke
anyways, its a novel idea, but unless you have keyless entry, and ignition security modules, youre wasting your time.
better to just do what porsche did back in the 80s. include a nice little leather case that the key swivels into

Audi was actually the first to have the switchblade key. Everyone else copied. I know because my 98 Audi A4 is parked behind my seven, and was the motivation for finding something similar.
I'm sure they're still around if you search.

I thought this would have been obvious. The alarm kit I bought provides power lock control (I already have power locks, not just follow-me), has an immobilizer with transponder chip in the key remote all in a nice package. There are also other channels for controlling windows or what-have-you.

actually, upon asking the mercedes tech next door, mercedes started using those fobs in 1991, because the 1993 mercedes e300 used them.......

Now you can whip it out when your around some ladies and start playing with it. They will ether take it away to play with or ask if you drive a mercedes, at which point you will say yes wanna go for a ride(wink alot when you say this). Now for some more pin insertion. It also passes the time when your bored....
