The self made enclosures look good, but I worry about the sound. The design and dimensions as well as the volume of the box make a huge difference in how it sounds at the driver/passenger seat. I made several in my years, but none sounded as good as an engineered box. The box above in my pictures may be hideous and old school, but it is engineered to throw the sound toward the drivers area.

I see on some of the pictures that some of you guys have new speakers in the original speakerholders in the back, are any of those subs?
My worst worrie is that if i place a subwoofer into them they are gonna shake/rattling in the car because the case is metal and the spring mounts are directly below it...

I do know that if you want to maximize your sub space, you'll need to:
1. remove your spare tire
2. grind out your spare tire bracket
