allow me to summarize the last 87 pages
lawnmower, weedwacker, airplane, don't put oil in that!, 4 cyl?, V6?, V8?, you gonna put an ls1 in it?, you should put an ls1 in it, my mom had one of those!, needs a new timing belt, you blew your head gasket, two different types of spark plugs?, it will be running soon, i don't have any money, its so loud!, its not a neon its an srt4, looks like a porsche, looks like a nissan, is that a delorian? wow those are rare, nice corvette, must get great gas mileage, whats a rotary?, they stopped making those because they blew up, i dropped it down a gear and she came, i don't know what you're talking about officer, where are your valve covers?, hows the engine work? i need to get that key chain, smog guy didn't know what he was doing, its an FR not an FF, you can bend a valve revving it to 8k like that, that doesn't look like the on F&F, why is your scoop backwards?, why is your scoop off center?, that alternator is a turbo!, its a triangle in an oval, that probe looks nice!, i thought it was a 2000+, so its a twin turbo right?, the lady at the dmv couldn't comprehend 0 cylinders, your car is on fire, nice flame thrower kit, where did you buy the flamethrower kit?, they can only go 80k miles, the rubber bands need to be replaced, do you drift?, i'll beat you in a straight line, nice car dude!, i didnt know this thread was still up, i thought this thread died already, sticky!, i walked away

Last time when I was ordering my radiator for my 86 FC race car at the rad shop, I went there with nother FC. Stupid thing is that this motor has low compression, slightly blown coolant and oil seals, well it did start and run fine all the months, but this time I did not release the coolant pressure correctly. *doh*
So yeah when everything was said and done it would not start up anymore ^^ As I also ran out of WD40 to spray in the chambers I had a hard way starting that damn motor. So while I was working under the hood (removing/cleaning plugs/deflooding) the boss's lady showed up and told me I should clean the dizzy cap, it certainly is wet. So I was like "uh, well that might be true but concerning this motor, it needs a rebuild, low compression and so on"
There was nothing I could do, she was persistent, and thought I would make fun of her. (Girls can too, you know

Well finally on the last ounce of battery power it came to life You should have seen that, massive (real MASSIVE) cloud of white smoke, fumed out the entire block. Cars had to stop on the road in both directions as that cloud was so thick, they couldn't see through. (slow speed limit so no harm was done)

I was @ Lowe's the other day looking for a carbide drill bit to drill out the roll pins for the exhaust port sleeves, I had one of the housings w/me so I wouldn't need to dick around w/the size needed. The employee directing me to drill bit section (they only had cobalt, btw) asked about it and said: "A rotary engine? Weren't those things proven to be defunct, like 10yrs ago?!" I've given up on trying to explain things to people, so my answer: "Nah, rotaries are the future."

Most of my buddies are v8 guys.....they always give me crap about the rotary, recently calling it "triangle problems" whenever I have something go wrong... This is what they posted on my wall today on facebook.

I was asked on Thursday "Is your car faster than a 5.0 Mustang?".
Well obviously, it depends on what you mean by fast, how modded the Mustang is, what year 5 litre, etc.
But the easiest answer was "Yes".

There is a car electronics store in my hometown that has worked on both my 86 and my 93. Whenever I am there the employees refer to me as the "airplane engine" car guy.
The local autozone had an employee, when I asked about buying a belt for my 86, asked me why Mazda never put the rotary into boats. I kind of just shrugged my shoulders and left.

Girl who owned VW...lol
My fav is when we pulled up to a stoplight in my 87 GXL stock and she thought my engine died...it ran so smooth,compared to her covertible VW which ran like crap...lol...she thought my car died ...lol
