I was in my garage with my buddy workin on my car. Had it all appart and a few beers in me. So we order a pizza. Guy comes to deliver and walks up says wow that's a nice car I said thanks. I said If you can tell me what it is I'll give you a tip... He laughs says. A ford. I said. No I'll give you a hint. It's a japanease he says hmmmmm I say ok one more hint. It has a rotary engine.... I got a pretty good one, so i go to a honda dealership to safety my Fc just because it was close to my house.

So after waiting like 2hours.... the tech comes out he's like,

Tech." So your rotors are bad.. so it wont pass safety.."

Me "what do my rotors have to do anything with a safety (my BBK is Brand new)?"

Tech " well they are to large for the vehicle and they are not OEM"

Me" im thinking to my self huh..(my car would pass safety No problem all new suspension Big brake kit front and back NEW.) So you took apart my engine and looked at the rotors??"

Tech" Rotors in an engine are you crazy..? its of course a 4cyl piston.. (he thought i was retarded or something for saying rotors in my motor).

ME "i just smiled and said ahh i never new my Rx7 had a 4 banger lol... and ohh your telling me my new big brake kit wont pass safety LOL! ill have my car back thank you very much!"

Tech" looks at me funny, and said if its not ment to be on the car i wont safety it..."

One of my best friends who used to have an NA FC, constantly talks about how retarded the FI system is on them and how his E34 BMW is so much better of a car. Makes me laugh every time. The problem with his logic is on his old FC he did all the throttle body mods, emissions removal, etc. etc.. and it ended up running and idling like crap; so now he blames FCs for having the worst FI setup lol.

Was at the parts counter at Mazda today. While waiting for the parts guy to get the parts, I seen a rotary history timeline along the whole counter. Read up to the point of 1985, where it said something along the line of "in 1985 mazda began production of the first turbo rotary, which boasted a twin turbo engine". Wait, what? I had to double, then triple take that... Mazda themselves forgot, or mistyped a mistake that big, really?

Somebody hit my RX7 Trubo II 2 days ago in the night and got away without telling the police so i called them yesterday when i saw the damage. They came and the first thing the officer said was: "Please open your hood." I opened it for him not knowing what he wanted to see because only the right front fender is damaged. He looked at the engine and asked me: "Did you talk to a TÜV inspector about the turbo upgrade of your Porsche? It's not allowed to drive like that without registering that in your car's papers."
What the hell? He really wanted to give me a ticket for driving a Porsche with an unregistered turbo upgrade.

A friend of me is sceptical about the Haltech I am installing into my FC (NA) S4.
He thinks that I will never be able to get that running ... There must be some kind of magic involved ^^
Lol, as if I am the first one to install a Haltech into a car. I mean I am happy that its not a Megasquirt
Although I had some troubles with installing the intercooler and intake manifold on his S5 Turbo 2. Well there are 2 worlds between both cars. Thats why I love simplicity
Nothing beats a car that is easy to repair in case you need to.
