i thought this would never happen to me.
but i woke up this morning to my neighbor mowing the lawn and i was like oh **** somebody is stealing my car. haha i ran outside in my boxers only to see my car just sitting there.
and my neighbor gave me a weird look, i think hes gay. ha

My friend told me after I drove up he thought he heard an airplane. Then I pulled into his driveway.
I was talking to this older guy about these things and he asked me if mine was one of those twin turbo's, and that they actually had two turbo's on them. When I tried to correct him he got very very stubborn, insisting there was a model that came with two turbos!
I at least got him to believe that the second gens didn't... lol
the guy I live with keeps calling it a junk heap but that might be because its been on blocks for about half the time I've owned it. Proud to say it hasn't been that way for a month, and wont be for a while!
I can't wait to get some weirder comments though..

Not so much a stupid remark but kinda funny and interesting considering it comes from my girl ashanti who Im talking to right now.
We were driving back from a local RX-7 meet in torrance when I thought it would be cool to see if she could guess what my rotary key chain was. It's the moving rotor type key chain inside the housing, which I purchased at last years 7 stock. Just curious to see what she would say. Here are her four attempts at guessing:
1) sun dial
2) compass
3) mini weegee board
4) insides of a clock
Classic and unforgettable...definitely going in my rotary archives of interesting comments.

this kid that lives down the street from me doesnt belive that i dont have a flamethrower kit on the car ..cuz a week or two ago he was cruzing behind me as i was headed down the freeway to my friends house and got on it a few times the car poped a few flames and the next day he came over asking me what kit i had and where did i get it ..i keep telling him its just something that rx7s do but he wont belive me lol

Pulled into a gas station the other day and a guy comes up to me and says "Dude does that car have a Rotary engine?" And I'm like yeah, and I noticed his beat Honduh and I avoided saying anything, so he continues and is like "That's sick, frickin sick, sick and continued that all the way into the convenient store. I lol'd and went on my way.

A few years ago I went to H.I.N with my cousins in L.A. and Abel's RX-7 was there... (So you know it was a while ago LOL.) N E Way Steph. Papasskiss ( Thats what me and my Cousin call her) was there by Abel's car, And me being the ahole that I am I told her I love what you did for the rotary world!!!LOL Classic moment he just got mad cause the week before he broke racing Abel. lol That what that ***** deserves.

Ah yes, stacked Doritos. That's always a good one. I have a friend that is always insisting that I drop a ls1 in it and call it a day, no more blown apex seals. Which is funny since he loves DSM's

Went to autozone to get some wax and clay bar today. Kid came in after me and was like is that an rx7. IM like yeah it is. He was like are those racing seats in there? Im like yeah pretty much everything is aftermarket in the interior. He was like is it for sale? I said not unless you can find me a really nice 240 for cheap. He said oh yeah your looking to switch from fwd to rwd huh. I kinda went away after that lol.

I was talking with a small gas station mechanic about battery - charging problems.
Him "The battery at full charge should be 12.6 volts"
Me " OK, I'll check for that, I thought it was 13.6"
Him " No, only while charging up to 14 volts" ( true)
Me " My engine is a old rotary with around 105K miles and has low compression so it turns pretty easy."
Him "Rotary motors don't have pistons and don't make compression."
Me "Well, they do make compression, else wise it wouldnt run." and tried to explain but I don't think it clicked in his head.
I let him off the hook by saying to test compression it takes a special tester and changed the subject

......wow........^just wow......i would have seriously shot the kid.....and i dont even own a gun......wtf has he been kept in a box? i mean common i know people have issues with understanding the engine...but seriously!!! if hes ever seen like one ******* drift event...a bunch of people use an rx7 of some sort to drift....even apexi uses a friggen FD!!! or how about circuit? touge? GOD!!!! people are so stupid!!!!!!
