I get idiots like that at intersections all the time. I just hold the engine at 5K or so with the turbo wailing, position my body as if I was going to go for it, and then calmly pull away and turn right when the light changes. Always hilarious...

okay well i was with my girlfriend one time and i was about to leave, and right before i left we had a small makeout session and in the middle of it i hear an rx-7 so i immidiately stop and she gives me the weirdest look as i charish the moment. and she knows im obsessed with them even though i dont own one yet and goes "that was an rx-7 wasnt it?" and i go yep, and go back to kissin her. LOL..

I was at a local ski resort saterday, and member Templeton was there aswell, apparently yelling my name, as he came up to me he sortof yelled brap brap.. i actualy hurd that, but not my name..

My GF actually knows what noise I make when I see and RX7. It's pretty funny, we were riding in her mom's car when her's was in the shop, on our way to school.
I made the noise, and her mom's like "wtf?" she responds with "rx7....".

A better question may be, why would the person woith the better/faster/cooler car care?
I get idiots like that at intersections all the time. I just hold the engine at 5K or so with the turbo wailing, position my body as if I was going to go for it, and then calmly pull away and turn right when the light changes. Always hilarious...

my gf works on my car with me, hates all hondas/ricers, and looks out for any 7's ..... i really need to get that key chain....people are so stupid
its always funny when people with brand new cars like 350z's and what not stare at your car longingly......its even more funny when ricers pull up next to you to challenge then you pop a flame and scare them away...happened twice

Not really an RX-7 story, but since we're on the topic of making ricers look like jackasses: My uncle had a porsche 924 turbo, and an automatic integra pulled up next to him at a light, put it in neutral, revved, and put it back into drive. My uncle saw a cop sitting in a parking lot ahead so he held the rpm's at about 4000 and looked over. The kid grips his steering wheel, the green turning arrow lights up, and he punches it through the red light. Needless to say, the officer wasn't too happy. My uncle just laughed and beeped as he drove by.

Lately more people have been trying to instigate things with me at intersections, I'll definitely have to give this a shot next time.

I was working with a guy and some how we got to talking about cars, and I told him about my fc. Later after work walking to our cars he saw mine and said "Ah there's your ferrari." And I just laughed and drove off. Pretty good compliment for an s4 n/a

i had a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust once and i parked it next to my work and a guy comes over and says theres something probably wrong with the pistons and i said yea there is. . . . there are no pistons

Yeah, there's a road by my house that's 2 lanes and goes to 1 pretty quick after the intersection. If there's a slower car in the next lane, I'll get on it when the light turns green so that I don't hold up their lane when I merge, if there's a faster car there that looks interested in the light, then I'll rev the engine a few times and give him a nod, then when he shoots off like a rocket I'll slide in easily behind him.

lmao i usually get, thats where your gas goes not your oil, holy crap thats loud, and my personal favorites . A guy at autozone comes in when i was behind the counter askes me "who rx7 is that" i said "mine" he says " did you know those have a lot of head problems, they like to warp heads" i just laugh and walk into the back of the store. my altime favorite tho is
