Rotary Works Gilmer Belt

Has anyone ordered the gilmar belt setup from Rotary Works?
http://www.rotary-works.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=PULY

Does this come with the belt as well, or is this only for the pulleys?
I want to order one, but with my work schedule and them being in Cali it's hard to find the time to contact them...

Thanks,
Brad

it looks like it would come with the belt. otherwise you would have to find a timing belt of another car that fits.

I never heard of these until I seen it on a FC at the track, now I want this bad. This is priced much better than the kit mazdatrix sells too. I would assume it comes with a belt being its pictured.

Everyone will be asking if your car is supercharged lol. If you buy it let us know how it is!

Will do...

If it does come with the belt, which I ***-u-me it does since it's pictured, (although the Mazdatrix one doesnt come with the belt,) than it is worth every penny.

I shot over an email, just waiting for a response from them. I think I'm going to buy it reguardless.

I just switched to an FD alternator, and the seller didn’t include the pulley. Since the FC pulley won’t work on the FD alternator, and I want a little more bling under my hood I figure this is a wise choice...

The only real "benefit" that I know of is no belt slippage.
Not sure what exactly it sounds like, I'm buying it more for the fact that I need new pulleys anyway so I might as well.

It sounds like a supercharger.

When I first heard the FC at the track with this, he got on it coming up to the pits, and you could distinctly hear the wine of the pulley kit, and the turbo. So I ran over half expecting a compound supercharger/turbo setup... Yeah not quite lol.

To kill the whine, loosen the belt a little, and or drill holes in the pulleys to allow air to eacape.

If you search this topic. There are tons of results.

Better make sure it's the right size for an FD alt going on an FC. And it's also an underdrive system.

This is a great item for FC/FD... we are using this pulley kit on the Formula D FD and so far its perfect. It does include the belt.

Hope its what you expected

I bought one of these about 2 weeks ago too from Rotary-Works. I got it pretty quick and it does come with the belt. Havn't installed it yet. But it looks great! I contacted them there and let them know I was running an FD alt on an FC 13BT. They had me order the FD kit since he said the only difference was the size in the Alt bolt.
