i posted that long time ago i think..

nsx style bumper is cool.. dont know why anyone hasnt tried to produce one yet, would be super easy to build if you have a aftermarket nsx bumper laying around.

i think you should be warned for your post, i find it offensive that you drive a near stock looking fc in your avatar and your trying to put down a aftermarket tuned fc.

KEEP THE FC TUNING + AFTERMARKET GROWTH SCENE ALIVE! Its becoming extinct cuz not many people will play with them anymore, just a bunch of old men who dont like touching the bodywork on this forum. Always getting cranky whenever a modded FC comes around.

might jus have to email this to some of the bodykit companies out here to hack up one of thier nsx fiberglass bumpers and mate it to a fc.. even tho it wont sell too much since theres only a handful of guys who kit their 7s

warned.. of what.... i think you should grow a real pair as opposed to digital *****.. i didnt expect this kind of retarded off the wall response... Tuning is one thing but if the car operates well and looks good then thats AWESOME. However this car umm doesnt look that great to ME. And if you are going speak from your bleeding "Mangina" at least have a valid case and backbone to support your blabbering.....

You played it safe enough to acknowledge my car not being STOCK in perfomance ("STOCK LOOKING"). So why open your mouth implying im a stock car talking about aftermarket tuned cars? I did not criticize the cars TUNING since i do not know whats going on under the hood. so why say something about me slamming an "aftermarket tuned FC". I guess my car isnt an aftermarket tuned FC... you are contradicting yourself by suggesting my car is stock tuned but is set apart from the stupid plecostomus looking car because my car is not modded substantially visually. Lets talk about whole package here if we are going to speak on aero as tuning. I can speak on the cars umm LOOOOOOONG tarded lip and nose. That is not tuning that is umm "creative". even Amemiya-san has made some ugly cars would i talk bad on his performance tuning work. Yes i would..... IF I WAS SMOKING CRACK. That car in the picture almost looks like a funny car. why is that car not WIDER? If you are including AERO as a part of tuning I would say you are correct BUT this is some ill thought out crap. The rear wing install seems to be about reducing drag off the back of the car and less about downforce. while the open headlight area is clearly a drag magnet with no plexi over it... so further still this car SUCKS. The car even looks like it has a crap paintjob. i would imagine that the front of that car could possibly generate a disproportionate amount downforce than the rear making it a little "different" to drive. Id rather do no visual/aero mods than do them wrong.....

Its an internet of free speech if that all it takes to offend you you probably should unplug your pc. Then proceed to tend to your manpon. (drip drip drip) And I'll hand you a virtual cookie for posting this before me you are sooo awesome, dude i bow to your greatness! (Don't forget to wash your dirty manpon hands before eatting your cookie.) Oh yes and keep the FC market alive by putting NISSAN and HONDA parts on your car!!!! You are so right man... I too am sad about where the fc market is heading but damn are you the rotary green peace? i don't like v8 sevens they are the death of rx7s NOT people not buying honda body parts for rx7s. if no one wants to mess with the HEART of the rx7. THE ROTARY. how do you expect it to live on?

As your car floats your boat, the modded car in this thread floats the shop/tuner/whoevers boat that made it lol

and cmanns, your car is stock automatic NA, dont come around talking about car mods dude when clearly you have no plans to even go 5speed for performance driving reasons.

Im not being mean or anything, just sick of people on this forum complaining and bitching about anything japanese tuning style related when their car itself is stock in appearance.

you are so right hypertek.. and i still question your keep your mazda rx-7 alive with honda parts mentality or a non-aero aero'd car.. two thumbs up:-) ...all japanese tuning style should be cherished and brought to the US:-)

I'm all for JDM tuning, but if a company in the U.S. offers parts that do the same thing, I'll gladly buy those instead of paying 3 times as much for the JDM factor and waiting a long time for my **** to get shipped here.

As far as the body debate, the FC is a great looking car from the factory and lots of people like it the way it is. I'm tired of the whole 'If your car doesn't have a body kit, it's ghey' mentality. Was there some memo I missed that said an FC needs to be kitted out with graphics and wings to be taken seriously? I keep my car stock body because I like it that way, not because of some 'I DON'T LIKE JDM!!1!' thing. It's all a matter of preference. And just because I like stock body cars, that doesn't mean I don't like modding altogether. I just prefer big turbos and suspension over urethane and carbon fiber.

From reading Hypertek's last post, it almost sounds like he's implying that there's some kind of war against JDM tuning, but that's just not the case. Some people just prefer a different style of tuning.

On topic, it's not my cup of tea. Bumper looks hella functional for sure though in terms of downforce and ducting air into the engine bay/brakes. It does it's job.

Aero DOES have a purpose other than looks.

Even slammed, a stock body fc still sits high. So high it makes me sad. Stock s4 front bumper is less than crafty and probably provides ZERO downforce. None at all. Ducting air? Well that's what the undertray is for but how many fc's out there actually have one.

I like cars that look good but i also like cars that are built out of function. Some people want alot of grip at high speeds (see car at the top, i'm sure with that kit he's got it), some people want rediculous style that flows (see car you posted), some people want a stock car with all the good stuff under the hood b/c that's what they think makes the car.

Different strokes.

What i hate seeing is people posting BONE STOCK fc's saying "look at my car. Leave me comments on how stock my car is. You wont see one of these like this anywhere."

Ever go into work hating it because you know you're going to do the same **** you did yesterday? There's that feeling. Show me something new. Something different.
