I've got a pic of hyperteks fc stuck in his driveway somewhere..... I'll keep it to myself though. I wish i had a pic of mine when i spun into a ditch.
Anywho, about the sportmax argument....wheels are wheels. As long as you have dope fitment, who the **** cares who makes them?
If you can pull your car together well i dont think it should matter what parts you run.

haha dude i just traded the bumper to a friend for a quick release steering wheel about 2 minits ago..sorry.
the part where it goes on the front part of the fender needs to be cut and i think thats about it...besides that it went on the wheel's fender part fine and hood closed good. but i only have one fender so not shure how it would fit with both fenders on. oh and that link didnt work for me...not shure why
haha yaba-daba-do! need some better shoes to stop the car also

some newer pics
Just got the car out on the road again today, it has been a few months since it was driven. I had done a lot of work to it and was still tweaking the new e-fan settings and boost controller when I took it for a drive today.
I had previously managed to tune it up to 8 psi with the old setup and was hoping to get it smoothed out to 15 psi this summer. Well today I got it up to 11psi with good results, the Profec B Spec 2 seems to work fine and is easy to adjust. I was logging the AFRs, boost, intake temps, etc and it looks pretty good up to around 10psi where I have to add a little fuel above 4,000rpms. It stays down in the low 11's until 10 psi or so when it starts to lean out to around 12 to 1. Now to go into the Rtek and adjust the fuel and shoot for 13 psi, then 15. Probably maxing out the BNR Stg 1 around there.
Also the stock radiator seems to be working fine in this setup with the VMIC and e-fan. I seem to run right around 185-190' unless I really get into the boost, then it'll climb to 205', once I start cruising again it quickly drops down to 185'. The fan works well to quickly reduce the temps as noted by the data logs, you can see the temps rise under load and then drop when you cruise. The intake temps were good as well, I did notice that the temps were steady during the drive, didn't heat soak and kept cool. I think it would be better if it wasn't directly above the radiator but i can always add some alcohol injection to compensate in the future if I really want to push it.

Yea man, your engine bay rocks! Not to rain on your parade, but if your posting photos, you should be expecting opinions. The wheels don't go with the body. The hood, regardless if its functional or not sucks. But, if I had it I would paint it to match and mold the transitions so it didn't look as bad.

Thanks for posting the info though thats good to know. With my stock s5 int/turbo and stock rad/fan when I max out at around 8 psi I'm around 184 for engine temp

lol. Sorry the hood "sucks", ha, should have checked with you guys first to see which one was the right hood to buy, rofl. you guys......
But seriously the car is just the way I want, almost, but it's getting there and I like it so far. I chose to build it the way I did for my own reasons and preferences so no surprise that not everyone is thrilled.
I was told the stock radiator wouldn't cool well enough but it does, some of that is going to be from the ducting, some from the good e-fan and some from the hood as well. The temps under the hood are more than reasonable after a long drive, the core of the VMIC is cool to the touch. It sticks pretty good too with the rims(that apparently don't match the body?) and tires now but I think I might soften up the rear coilovers a bit. I tell you what, it is noticeably faster than at 6 or even 8psi, starting to make the car really come alive in the twists and fun as hell off the line. Looking forward to getting it squared away at 15psi and taking it down the road to the local drag strip but most of the fun is had on the back roads.

yeah don't get the wrong impression by what I posted man. I admire your car. And even that badass building you built to put it in. I've read your buildup and your cars come a long way. So yeah man props. I like it a lot... just the hood? If its how you want then that's all that matters you know. Got plans to paint it and mold those vents?
