damn prismo looking good!
are those 45 or 50 series tires?
looks kind of like my first fc same thing happened to me. dang coolant seals -__-
i wonder if you cant have your fc stored for too long without starting it or the coolant seals go out.
didnt drive mines for about 2 months then the seals decided to go out.

Yeah, my fc sat for a year before I bought it. There was only 3.5k miles on the rebuilt engine, and only lasted me another 6k miles before I blew a coolant seal.

I'm not sure why the seal decided to pop now, I bought this engine with my car in 2009 from a guy who pulled it from a 87 rx7 in 2004 and then left it outside with the exhaust ports open to the elements for 5 years. I guess I really should be surprised that it ran in the first place.
I dont think Ill do a TII swap now, just rebuild this engine (I have the original, blown engine to pull parts from as well). Ill wait till I'm out of college when Ill hopefully have more money to do a TII swap.

Thanks! The front tires are 205/45 and the rear are 205/50.

i actually read from aaroncakes website that when rx7's are stored the coolant should be removed because the coolant looses its anti corrosion inhibitors and eats away the seals like a hungry beaver. wished i knew that before hand
good to see it held up for that long though!
make sure you clean out the grooves on the coolant seals real good and use OEM coolant seals/gaskets otherwise its going to happen again.

Thanks bud!
Engine's being rebuilt. Nothing wrong with it really but I got the powertrain used so I don't know how strong it was built previously or what porting etc it has. Might as well beef it up with some fresh stuff before throwing lots of power down. I'd rather know beforehand that the engine can take it than find out afterwards that it can't.
Lip is a corksport type cs or something. Only one they make for the s4 I believe. It's probably not staying on the car
