Just got some stuff while I was in Japan. Wish I could read this stuff though, looks pretty interesting. The 787 and 787b cars were expensive :/

Where did you buy this stuff? I've always wanted to know if there was a store dedicated to Rx7 collectables, Great idea though!

There is no store dedicated to RX-7 collectibles as far as I know. I got the 2 books at 2 different book stores. I picked up the 787b and 787 model cars from a train station (might be a city, Im not sure) called akihabara. Its like an area dedicated to electronics and geeks...there was some sweet little model cars (the ones you put together and paint yourself) of the infini fc, mazdaspeed fd, etc.

Would have loved to get those, but I simply dont have enough funds or luggage space to get those as well. Plus Ive never built a model up, I would probably massacre it.

More than you would ever imagine spending on 2 little cars and 2 books. Over $100

nice finds, too bad it cost that much....i can understand the books being like 25 us dollars worth each and the toys being up to 25 at most each but over 100 is a bit much for me :[

yeah its pretty much a city.... if you were in town were they're a bunch of people singing on the streets and random people sitting there listening and cheering them on and some imitating they're moves???

Yeah, the one on the left is really good. When I get home I will take more pictures, or try to use a scanner or something....wish I could read it, it seems like it breaks down the car from concept to developement. The first page in the book is a foldout page with the sketches of the body design of the SA on line paper.

The RX-7 book was about 25 if I remember right, the magazine was about 18. 787 toy was about 16, then the 787b was over 50.

About the city, cant recall anyone sitting on a corner singing this time, but last time I was here there was some chick dressed up like a sailor moon girl performing some song in front of a large group of otaku (nerds). But I have been seeing performers in almost every major train station at night.
