Put it in front of one of the foglight/brake duct holes.

^^^^ +1

Other option is tossing it on the dash/windshield in a corner. It's just as visible as being on the front bumper.

It bolts right to the bottom of the bumper.

those dont look too good =(

I dont have a fmic but if i did, id be all good
http://i52.tinypic.com/35auf0k.jpg

when i did have a front mount in old car with the same method under the front parking light
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._7259492_n.jpg

Tape the license plate in place to where you might like it, so you can get an idea. Mark the holes and drill 2 holes.
Use 2 bolts, inserted from the inside with lock washers, through the bumper, and then washer and nut tightend down, And then washer / Plaste / washer/ Nut. THis will have the license plate spaced so it wont be rubbing against the paint and be easily able to unbolt it when necessary.

I think side mounted plates can look great when mounted and positioned right.

looks good too

When the plate is nicely mounted, I think it accents the front end unlike the sloppy ones posted above.

I hate to say it, but as much as the factory bracket puts it in a stupid location dead center of the bumper, it sure looks better than most of those haphazardly attached off-center plates.

When the front bracket is placed such that the plate sticks up instead of down, it doesn't reduce flow into the FMIC/rad.

on mine i had to mount to the side because of the cut out in my bumper i made for my front mount and since the front mount is in there, there is no more bumper support to mount to.

putting a license plate ANYWHERE in your car will NOT make it look better in any shape or form. just stick in the middle (twss) where it belongs. by the time this thread is over you could have tried every possibility for your self. use double stick tape and try different positions.

fmic blocks the radiator, and if your a cool guy who still has the a/c condenser, you need all the help you can get so relocating the license plate makes perfect sense to be more optimized. and having duct work is a added bonus, especially if you have an efan.
