need for speed adds the FC!

Will be getting this for sure. Graphics are awesome, even the interior actually looks like the car. Also, I don't expect much out of the NFS game engine, it's never been great in the past. I just like to mod the cars and the drifts will look cool in the game even if it's not real. It gives you ideas for what you can do with cars with imagination.

Simulators can make you a better driver and learn race tracks
That is really pushing it though as far as being an FC.. of course could be tube based chassis but have yet to see anything like that. And all the race car FCs dont have wheels or low profile tires like that. I wonder if one of the developers could be an fc owner.

^LOL, probably true. First NFS Shift was junk, this is worth a rent, but I'm not buying a $70 want to be sim racer when I already have GT5, and a Logitech G27. This game also has an E30 XD

E30 M3s are my favorite M3. We'll see how NFS Shift 2 turns out, but with Forza 4 coming out later this year, theres no way I'm wasting my time with a NFS game. The only recent NFS game I liked was Most Wanted.

I buy any game with an FC in it.lol. I'll get it eventually when the price comes down and I can find it used. forza 4 ftw with my money though, 3 was great apart from all the glitches/lack of attention to some things (especially the multiplayer). I hope they don't rush 4. I'm still waiting for a realistic rally style game though. I have played a few but they don't feel like sims. I want a forza style rally game. at least gt5 tried to include a mode but imo gt5 still blows compared to forza.

I used to play a lot of sims (rfactor, lfs, gtr, gtl)
this one finally looks very promising, but it seems there will be no tires wear and fuel consumption, and this actually bothers me a lot (especially the tires thing)

all the sim player comments lol
http://www.virtualr.net/need-for-spe...ailer/#respond
the first comment was spot on imo
"Don't forget that Shift 1 had all these endorsements by real drivers and that was arcade as you like."
"Claiming to simulate a endurance series like GT3 without a pitstop .
Still showing off with videofootage of all kind of cars coming in to the pits.
Only it's not possible in the game, that is a bit lame.
As pitting is such a vital part of this series.
It would add greatly to the immersion imho. "

game looks like ****, see how the car pivots on its center axis. Ghahhh i hope Road & Track doesnt start doing car reviews via NFS lol

gran turismo 4 had an FC gxl which was a jdm s4. they have both an s4/s5 na and s4/s5 turbo models if you keep checking the used car sections. forza is still the best game with the FC in it though, never knew why they didn't put the most popular bodykits in it though i.e. bn and gp sports, origin kits. they do have the bomex and a few lip kits though in 3. maybe they could make more kits as dlc in the future?
I didn't really like the first shift too much for the physics. maybe this one will be decent. they worked with vaugn gitten jr for the drift stuff but who knows how it turned out. probably like grid, dumbed down.

Forza 3 limited the FC's tuning so much though. Same with the FD. It only let you run 225 width tires on all 4 corners... what the heck?! They should have a widebody option at the least that lets you run 355s on nearly any car.

ya, but the physics are still worth it. just run it at a lower class. I have mine for drift and run a 400hp 3 rotor with the widest tires out back and second highest up front. its all about the tune. maybe in forza 4 they'll upgrade. widebodys would be the best thing to add to forza but that is a lot of work for all the cars they have, even if they only did half.

^ You're absolutely right, they would have a ton more designing on their hands to model the widebodies, but gosh darn would it be worth it. Forza's tuning is by and large the best in the industry. I am still so disappointed with every aspect of GT5.
