Need pics of skid plates
I have decided to lower the fc and put a front skid plate on it. Indiana roads are hell so I thought I might as well fab something up. I was courios if anyone has done one and if so post a picture of it so I can get an idea.

^I think you're referring to a reproduction of the "sport undertray". Something like that would be useful for the oil pan, but it's already pretty well protected by the front crossmember.
Skid plates haven't been done much. Maybe someone with a rally car has fabbed something up.
Copy the stock plastic undertray in metal?

There is a lot of things not stock in the front of my car. I want some added protection. I cut my bumper at the body so I have massive air flow to the raditor and want to bend the steel up to help cool the top of the raditor. Plus I want a spot to mount my oil cooler on the back side of the bent piece. Its really hard to explain but I was going to use my lip as a template for mounting to the front bumper and fenders, I was just look for anyone who has done this before. Im sure Im not the first one but thats what I thought about shaving the fc and I havent found anyone else whos done it

Why would you really need a picture of one?
And just learn to avoid potholes and such. I drove a truck that was 1 inch off the ground. It took finesse and a good eye to drive it, but I did and rarely scraped.
You are going to have to hit a pretty big chunk to hit anything. Even lowered, something big enough to cause damage would be pretty visible.
Edit: A good explanation may help us. You got some ideas there, but we need a better visualization of what you want haha

Ugh, of course the guy from Kentucky would post about a truck being an inch off the ground.
Sorry, there's a truck in town that the rear drags on the pavement. It is illegal I'm pretty sure. =D
