Hi everyone, as some of you know i was saving up to get a paint job on my car which was badly needed. This thread is for the progress of my paint and body work over the next two weeks until my car is finished. Enjoy!

This is what the whole car is going too look like when we are finished, we did a test on my bumper. This is with one coat of clear.

Good luck looks like its going to turn out well. I really need to get mine painted but I only got it to start on its own today and its still not all patched together.

 

Yaaay Elisa's car is finally gonna have sexy paint on it! What colour is that, a white with some sort of pearl? It looks ******* awesome!

 

yeah its a white with a silver red pearl. it's hawt.

 

rear bumper looks good. so i am confused.. you aren't going to primer the whole car?

 

yeah but i have to drive it around so we just did the spots that we did work on for now.

looking good! Did you do it yourself, or pay to have it done? If it's a DIY, PLEASE post a how-to!! I'd be very informative!!

 

ok so eventually the whole thing will be sanded down and primered? i was gonna say lol.

 

White and S5 conversion? Can't deny my bias towards that already but it should turn out amazing. Throw some T2 sideskirts on it while your at it.

 

you only need to primer the places that you've done body work to. Where the primer is, is where dents and rust were. As you can see my car was not that fucked up. You just sand the rest and then it's ready for paint.

I'm trying to find some half bumpers for the rear.
