My new project

Hi,

I just acquired a new s4 project car and am in the process of figuring where to begin the work.

The seller bought the car drove it for a week, to have the engine die on him, he then bought a t2 imported engine with 98psi compression on both rotors but only manged to take the old engine out and put the new one in. He was missing the needed pieces to complete the conversion and had no time either. The car has been parked for 2 years since then, but aged well considering our winters.

I bought the car as-is for $400 and it came with 2 engines/trany, the t2 and the original s4, 2 sets of wheels, 4 and 5 bolt original rims, 5bolt hubs for conversion, and some other extras.

The bad thing about the car is the striped out interior and some missing pieces witch i'm waiting to see if the seller finds or not, like the t2 top mounted radiator and one ecu( either the turbo or the n/a not sure which one i have in the car now). The car also only had 1 leather seat from fb and no instrument cluster(but i have an extra one from s5 that i plan to use). The interior trim will need to be refurbished as it was painted twice, from original red to black then to blue and some parts are broken or cracked.

The car however needs almost no body work and the paint is in good condition.

The plan right now is to take the t2 engine out and put in an s4 engine i have siting around that i bought couple of month ago for my other fc but never ended up using, then either put the t2 in another car or do a rebuilt with new housings and put it in the fc.

Let me know what you think, and if anyone in Canada (Montreal) region has any parts to do a t2 conversion let me know

Here are some pictures i took of it today after sorting out all the pieces that came with it.
