I read the hanes manual on rebuilding, it also says there to use vasoline to hold all the seals in place during assembly. I never tried it, I just used rtv for coolant seals and motor oil for all the hard seals.. But Itll definetly make assembly easier.

You're confusing ******* and wankels

vaseline is not safe lube for use with latex rubber condoms, it's fine on rotors.

And if you put a blob of vaseline on a spoon and burn it away there's no residue or carbon ash anything left behind, it burns completely clean... in the engine it will just melt and burn away.

In deicer boots for airplanes mild soap and water is used to clean them because any type of oil degrades the life of rubber. Unless the o-rings are made of something or encapsulated with some resistant material.

Maybe it wouldn't eat it up in a year...but I heard some where petroleum base products kill rubber

But now thinking about it the oil o-rings are soaked in engine oil

So i guess you need to know what type of o-ring your lubing

thanks for the props man. srry bout ur hw...

so today me and toya drove all the way to santa paula and came up on a sweet deal. I got a s4 t2 harness, s4 t2 pressure sensor, reman n318 afm, s4 t2 Throttle body and s4 t2 tps, he hooked it up with teh greddy compression tube for $20 everything in total of $120. I drove 200 miles round trip.

The harness needs work, its been unwrpped. However, hes going back to the junkyard, and theres a clean harness there that hes going to ship to me. ll I need left are the injectors and the waterpump [in the mail from 87t66] .

I have to redo part of my IC piping now, since I have a compression tube. Will work on it tomarrow.
Once I wrapp up the harness and get the s4 t2 injectors, everything will be plugnplay. No more ghetto splices or any s4.5 ****. Its going to be all s4 t2 electrical in a s4 chassis, and with a s5 t2 jspec long block. This will work..it has to lol or else the whole world is going to end when I give up on my car. I cant wait to see...

waiting in the mail... s4 t2 harness, t2 waterpump... after that it will be s4 t2 ecu/harness, sensor, injectors, afm on a s5 t2 block, therefore should run .. I hope... If this fails, fluck the whole world and universe and space will end, if it works then I can finally rest and drive the **** out of it in 2009 after break in.
